What gives, Market Force?

The California office called me yesterday at 7:11am. When I hit the "reject" button because my alarm wasn't due to go off until 9, they called me back at 7:19. I picked up INCREDIBLY skeeved off, as you can imagine, and told off the rep, still half-asleep. I call back later that day to find out what was so important that they had to call me before legal business hours and they say they'll "make a note not to call at that hour again."

Since when does Market Force intentionally make calls at that hour, and isn't that several kinds of illegal?

I came on her and posted the same thing about 6 months ago! This company can drive you nuts.
You're getting calls at 7 am and I get calls in New York past 9 pm on occasion from them. LOL. Are you surprised to find that they have that little respect for their shoppers? Look at their shop fees!!! smiling smiley
So what was the offer? If they have a smoking hot shop with a good bonus that needs to get done today, I'd take the call. They've never called me at early or late hours, but they do tend to call me at dinner time. Funny one was when they called me while I was at a dinner shop that they had called me and scheduled a few days prior. Usually when they are calling me these days, it is with an offer I know I will take, because they know my limits for their assignments.

Could I have a receipt please?
Not a clue. I don't accept calls before 8am unless they're from my sister (who lives in Australia). When I called back later they said it was for the good burger client, but they'd already assigned it.
I am lucky. I get calls late morning/early afternoons from Georgia and those foreign places. Maybe they're reading my mind, eh. winking smiley

The timing annoys me but it is the frequency that pisses me off. There is absolutely no reason to call 5 times within an hour.
The frequency of the calls is annoying plus the fact that they don't leave a message. If I am at home, I have heard the phone ring 3 times and then it stops no message, then my cell phone starts ringing, same thing, same message, no number.

The other annoying thing is when different people call and offer the same shop I just turned down and explained why. Don';t they keep a record.
My cell rang one time yesterday. I called them back. I picked up a good bonused shop. I'm happy I called back. smiling smiley
Thankfully most of the bonused shops MF has been offering me have been in email via Samantha. Unfortunately, the bonus is usually only $1 or $2 for the same fast casual client location many miles from me that I did once, but will probably never do again.

It may be legal but that doesn't mean it's good business or a good way to treat ICs.
Yesterday, gas station shops were $20. This morning the fee has changed. The fee is now $12.

I grabbed a few at $20. I guess I'll let the rest stay at $12.

I'm trying to understand their logic here. sad smiley
