Does anyone know which MSCs are doing art supplies and Lasik

I get notices from Shadow Shopper stating there are MSCs in my area who are offering Lasik eye surgery and art supply shops. I am not a paying member of Shadow Shopper so I don't get the info I need. Does anyone know which MSC's offer these shops?

I'd suggest you join Shadow Shopper if you feel it has something worthwhile for you.

Of course now I'm wondering why you are getting notices from them if you are not a paying member. I would suspect this is bait to try to get you to pay up and join.

I'm not a member though so I wouldn't know. I think someone here is, maybe they'll tell you.

The art supply shop could be ICU. I do some for them. It's not a very big chain so I don't think there are many out there but you could try them. I have never seen a lasik shop.

I'd sign up with them just to find out the lasik one. They have a $4.95 introductory offer, if I recall correctly? Find your Lasik one and then cancel your membership.

Shadow Shopper was offering me a free month and then $2.95 a month after that when I finally clicked the link for them to stop emailing me. They were sending 4 emails a day and were right up there with another MSC that would send back to back emails with a different email title with the same offer for a job tht is 200 miles away from me.

I compared the fake job board they show the non paying signups with what was coming in my inbox and they didn't have anything I didn't already get and they really exaggerated what it was to the point of outright fraud. The free month required giving them my credit card. I'll pass on that.
Thanks for the answers. I would sign up for the trial and then cancel but there have been shoppers who have done that and continue to get charged after they have cancelled.
^ I am... *gasp* actually in agreement with you, ScanMan.

I have noticed that a "$45 oil change shop, and get a free oil change!" is actually a $15 shop, with 'up to $30' reimbursement." They also send stupid things like "Make $75 an hour taking surveys or testing products!!" When, as anyone who has done surveys knows, product testing doesn't pay much, surveys don't pay much, the real money with that end of market research is in focus groups and in-depth interviews.

They are scammy. Very, very scammy. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lasik one is actually an invite to join some medical research database and maybe get picked to be a guinea pig.

There ARE legitimate medical mystery shops out there, though. I've done dermatology, chiropractic, and dentist shops.

You know what, nevermind. I found one of them, the one that was probably more desirable to you.

It's Satisfaction Services. And it's consultation only.

I did a Lasik shop a long time ago, like 2004 or something. It was consultation only. I don't even remember what company it was for back then. It was interesting... the technology was not quite where it is now though....
I did the Lasik shop. It Is consultation only and heavy on narrative. I evaluated the receptionist and two consultants.

Sounds like the Lasik shop would be great for video.

uhmm is it just me or did we just violate the ic agreement cuz I see several msc named here. just wondering...

as far as shadow shopper goes, signup and do not give them your cc. Take the free trial, use it and let it lapse.

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all
One quick question though: Satisfaction Services costs money to join? or do I have the wrong company?

I don't see the client listed anywhere. Do you?

The MSCs can be mentioned as long as the clients aren't. The OP asked who does art supply stores and laser eye surgery consultations. No clients were mentioned. ICU and Satisfaction Services are both MSCs.

A violation would be "Joe's Lasik Company" is shopped by "Bill's Mystery Shopping"

It's ok to say "Joe's Lasik Company" is shopped or "Bill's Mystery Shopping has some Lasik shops, but not the two together.
