RSG (Payment dates?)

I was under the impression that RSG pays on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The 9th was the 2nd Tuesday of Sept., but I haven't been paid. Anyone else having this problem?

They pay every other Mon-Tues.. I have been paid once by them on a Wednesday and was expecting to be paid on the Tuesday. If nothing happens after Wednesday, contact them and ask.

Their next payment date will be 9/17.

After 9/17 they are going to not pay until the end of the month following the month a shop was completed. They just went from being one of the best MSC payors to being like most of the others. Four weeks minimum to 8 weeks maximum. But they do pay and often pay more than other MSCs, so we will all just have to deal with it. That's a bummer.

They say the reason is because of acquiring Insula. I just looked on Insula and there are no shops in my area. When there were shops available, they were fast food shops for a single project only.

I've found RSG to be some of the easiest editors in the business. If RSG declined to pay you for a report, most assuredly you missed something far more than punctuation.

Write and let us know the reasons you were given for your report (reports?) not being accepted. You seem to have done assignments for several different companies and been denied payment. If you post and let us know what reasons you have been given for the denials, perhaps we can help you figure out what you are doing wrong.
You seem to have a lot of trouble with getting paid. It would seem like MSing is not a great fir for you. Most people who have done this over a period so time have had a shop rejected, but after discussing it, many times it becomes obvious why it happened. I am wondering if you are missing a major part of the guidelines. I don't believe shops are ever rejected for missing punctuation.
I have never had a problem with RSG. They have good editors, and even let me fix a shop which I had done completely wrong because I mis-read one line of instructions. In the early days of RSG, they paid within days of me submitting a report. As they grew, they got more standardized. Now, their pay policy is the same as many others. I can live with that.

One thing I will say for RSG - their shops are easy easy easy. Seriously easy. Their bank shops and their credit shops - I love them! No narrative and very quick and easy to fill out. What is expected of me for $15 on these shops is very reasonable indeed. Bummer that they are going to paying out less often but as long as the shops stay so reasonable, I'll be singing their praises.
My favorites are the surcharge shops.

I got paid for two early September shops yesterday, September 16th (they were both shops scheduled by RSG on behalf of Maritz),

I'm just curious... I did two shops for RSG on 9/5 and was expecting my first payments from them on the 19th (I thought I understood they "used to" pay in 14 days). Then, somewhere along the line they changed their policy, which was in effect on the day I did those shops, so now I can expect not to get paid on time? That's a little odd, isn't it? I mean, I understand that I should accept the change for any shops I do going forward, and I have no issue with them being 'like everyone else' but on the day I did those shops, we had a different agreement, right?

It's my understanding that the new payment policy will not take effect until the end of September, so I would think you would still be paid within September for shops completed on 9/5. After the new policy takes effect, the end of September, I understanding that they will pay for all shops submitted in a calendar month on the 15th of the following calendar month. This means all of the shops Finalized in September 1st-30st will be paid on the 15th of October. All shops Finalized between October 1st-31st will be paid on November 15th, and so on.
All September shops will be paid October 15th.

I asked. Yes, that is not what the notice said.
The notice said legacy shoppers would still
be paid this month but that is not the case.

I asked too. My RSG shops for Sept. will be paid on October 15th. It would have been nice to have a heads up several weeks prior. I, for one, need the $$$ to makes ends meet.
Well this would be my first paycheck from them. Let's just say I'm not impressed.

Wow... I thought I was alone :/ This is the only MSC I have had issues with pay for. I wrote them regarding shops I did in July.... the system says it was paid in August. No money showed up. I have sent at least 3 emails. Jessica refuses to respond. I'm being told she's the one that would have to pay out the funds. Jill Coody has been responding, telling me she would forward my messages to Jessica. It is truly frustrating. Only $45.00.... And I'm being put through he'll for it. Where or to whom can I complain to make this valid? I am ready to take this to the next level. It truly is unfair.
Call them at (404) 351-7888 and ask to speak to someone in their (shopper) payroll department. Have all your unpaid shop numbers ready to give them. If RSG paid you, as they claim, they'll be able to locate the PayPal transaction numbers. Ask whoever you speak to to give you the PayPal transaction numbers for these shops in question. Then they should (hopefully) see that the shops were unpaid.

I have had this problem with a few other MSCs who use Sassie before where they wrote "Paid on: ______" but I was never paid. It didn't take long after I contacted the scheduler (who forwarded the emails to someone else in charge of payroll) before the matters were resolved.

I am not sure which Jessica you are talking about who is supposedly the one who pays people. If it's Jessica Brumit, she's a scheduler.

Pam Simons is the payroll contact for RSG as far as I know. Jessica Brumit and Jessica Dotters are both schedulers.
The reason why you have not gotten paid is they now pay every month on the 15th so say you did a shop on the 1st of october and one on the 31st you would get paid on the 15 th the following month so november 15th they paypal as well
