You're right...I will not do anymore shops for Sentry. My time is valuable. I don't need the reimbursement. It's a nice benefit to have a lunch or dinner on someone for my observations. I don't take my assignments lightly. My time is more valuable than the reimbursement. I do plenty of other shops for other marketing companies that accept my shops on my first submission and they pay and it's a great working relationship. I won't do anymore shops for Sentry but they need to be careful getting paid by a client and then not paying their shoppers....should they get audited that might come into question.

I never said anything about RGS and Shoppers view...that must have been someone else. I have had no problems with any other marketing companies other than Sentry.

We use Prophet mystery shopping software. Prophet generates a system message to the shopper when a shop/report is returned for revision. In addition, we sent a private message to the shopper through our website. The priviate message system generates an email to the shopper. In addition a red band is displayed indicating a new message when logging into our site.

As I stated previsouly, if we were publishing your report to our client, you would be paid.
Your ranting is not improving anyone's impression of you. You clearly posted about three other companies in the last 24 hours and now are saying you didn't. Makes everything you say sound suspect. If if your anger is directed at just one company, you don't have to participate in multiple threads about it. You seem to be completely unwilling to listen to what anyone else is saying here. If you spoke to any of the companies that you claim to be shorted by in a tone even remotely similar to what we are seeing here, I totally understand their unwillingness to try and help you out.

Disney is supposed to be the happiest place on Earth, why not let some of the happy wash over you!
Dave, given the way some of the other postings you have been involved with in the past, you should be very happy. It looks like everyone has your back on this one.

Dear Diz, okay, you are a gal, my error. I did not think a female could be this dumb, my mistake again. (Sorry, guys. It's usually the males who have the most vicious, aggressive, and unfounded rants.)

Diz, if your time is more valuable than the fee/reimbursement what is your reason for doing this? Since you're raising so much hell about not getting paid, I don't understand why you would do this if you aren't after the fee/reimbursement. And if you're not after the fee/reimbursement, why are you raising so much hell about not getting paid? And, pray tell, if your time is too valuable to do this why are you doing this? Why don't you do something commensurate with your abilities, like rock science? (Rock Science: Science for the dumb as a rock stupid.)

None of this, including your posts, makes any sense. Why not devote your time to analyzing what went wrong and doing better work in the future? You are responsible for submitting a complete report the first time around and when any company gives you a second chance that's a gift from them and not an obligation. Why not say thank you, I'm sorry, and I'll try to do better next time? The throat you're cutting is your own for sure.

I've read where some have had issues with Sentry but coming here and ranting like this one had done? It's not a way to solve anything.

Anyway, from reading all this nonsense, she is in the wrong and won't admit it. I don't know Sentry. I've never worked for them but I know this. I will defend what is right...and what she's doing is WRONG!
Sentry is alright in my book. I have never experienced serious payment issues, in that my payment arrives not too far after it should have...

As for clarification requests... my third report for them was returned to me four times. Each time after the first, it was with an apology stating that they'd missed that I'd missed a certain part. Still got paid.

^--- This. Tons and tons of people, including myself, would lead more productive, successful, happier lives if we spent a little bit of time on a regular basis doing this. Not just about MS'ing, but any/everything. And not just when someone points stuff out to us, like Mary's doing; but learn to recognize for yourself when you need to take a moment and do this. smiling smiley

Just don't go overboard on it, like I tend to do, and beat yourself up *too* badly. Reflect, analyze, decide on your strategy moving forward... and then do just that ~ move forward.

Well, I posted in another thread about two days ago about missing all the drama that happened that day. Looks like I missed another drama-filled day. Let's see why I am missing all the drama. Maybe it is because I am too busy with MS assignments.

I think this may be a record. New member signs up to the forum today. New member makes 16 posts all in one day. New member is banned from forum in less than 24 hours. Even that lunatic who threatened to beat up Jacob and kill another forum member lasted longer than 24 hours I think.

Two thumbs up to the mods for taking care of this PITA quickly.
