New Version of Market Force Shopper Website rolls out the 18th...

Did anyone get this email?

Dear Shopper,

This is to let you know that you are one of a select group of Shoppers who will be given access to a new version of our Shopper Website which is expected to roll out tomorrow, September 18th. You don’t have to do anything differently or log on to a different site. All you do is log on to the Shopper Website with the same login information as you always have and you will see the new version once it is available.

I went in there and all is well. Of course, it rolls out tomorrow. Hope it's going to be a good experiencesmiling smiley

Hmph. They never fixed all the issues from the last change they made. Hopefully this will work better than the last "improvement."

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I have been one of the randomly selected beta testers the past couple of weeks. No issues so far believe it or not.
Okay, this morning I went on.

Here are things I do NOT like:

1. CPI. One white muted page

2. Scrolling feature to find jobs. It used to be they all showed up on one page (depending on how many you selected to see) but now you have to scroll inside a smaller box. This slows me down snagging jobs at lightening speed. smiling smiley

3. Text and print. The text that used to be darker (my bad eyes) is now lighter and for me, makes it more difficult to read.

Things I like:

There is a new style box that gives updates about pay and news releases.

The guidelines (Thank God) have not changed. The pages look the same, so perhaps I can overlook the CPI looking so different, if everything else remains the same.

Analysis: I wish they would go back to the way they had it but that won't happen so I will just adjust to the new shopper portal smiling smiley
Oh joy. Now I get to change my search parameters again.

Since the LAST "improvement" I now have to type in a zip code two towns over, and search a 90 mile radius, just to see shops in MY town. When I type in my zip code, nothing shows up.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
Great Tip! I took a highlighter marker and highlighted the things: like client, address and date smiling smiley

I didn't play with that feature yet because it appears all the same jobs were on there from 100 miles away...perhaps I will though, because it might open up different jobs smiling smiley
Did everyone else get a new look? Mine is still the same although I only saw jobs around 8-10 miles away when it was set at 20. Unusual as the many locations fast food jobs just arrived. I changed the mileage to 25 and the ones a few blocks from me showed up. Also, I now have a banner ad about the International Terminal at the airport shop that pays $20. Not sure if I was flying out of the country I would want to stop and do a shop for $20. I might not arrive at my destination before the job was due in.
Mine is still the same look too. Hardly any jobs showed up though and only a few more when I expanded my radius.
I don't understand their search function. I have mine set for a 30-mile radius and only 4 jobs pop up. Then I change the radius to 15 miles and 6 jobs show up. I have the type of jobs set to "all."

I wonder how many job opportunities I've missed because of this.
I still see the same old, same old website. I've never had a problem with their search function before, but now I only see 4 jobs within a 200 mile radius of Orlando. They're all for the well-done-but-juicy place. Switching from Chrome to IE didn't make a difference.

Maybe they're having a problem with WebFC?
I think the "testing site" rolled out on the 18th and selected shoppers get to work through the flaws, until they release it to everyone smiling smiley
Well thank all you testers in advance for doing a great job making website suggestions. It will be perfect by the time we get it.
Speaking of the Market Force website, I received an urgent VM and several emails advising that "Due to a technical problem in our office some reports have been lost and need to be re-entered." So I had to reenter three of them when I came home late
Friday night. Those submitted on the 18th were fine.
Hope they are paying you extra for your time.

Nope. Nothing extra. It was frustrating because I came home late. I had to rearrange my schedule for Saturday which was an early morning for me.
Their site looks the same to me, however; there seems to be a heck of a lot of shops available now.
