More GFK Problems

in order to show the oops you have to hit
take another pass not submit. If you submit
the test it will just tell you that you didn't pass
and how many wrong. If you choose take another
pass it will show you which ones were wrong.

And yes, it's annoying that they assign you a shop and *then* you find out you have to take a qualifying test.

I've started checking their board for new tests at the beginning of the month in case they need one done on a deadline and I don't have time to both take a test and get to the job on time.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I went through the same thing you did. A 93% is not good enough, so 3 Louisiana Smartphone shops were left undone. Pass the dunce cap this way when you're done.
This happened to me last year which is why I never worked with them until this year. But having worked with them now, it has been nothing but trouble. Either the scheduler is sleeping all the time or they keep sending back shops for photos of locations that they never asked for in the guidelines. Just steer clear. The only positive with their company is that if you do get paid for shops, its done within 10 days via Paypal.

If you read the instructions on taking the tests you will see the info. provided by techman01 above. DO NOT SUBMIT until you do another pass through. That way you can fix the answers.
If you fail the test twice, STOP. Email the scheduler and tell them and they may send you the correct answers. Happened that way for me when I couldn't figure out which answer was incorrect.
we will be updating our phone system soon yeah right.

I am not a fan of this company. After a snarky reply from a scheduler, I told her to take a hike. No regrets. smiling smiley Goodbye. I don't put up with nonsense!
The wings at my local one are awful. 80% fat, 10% meat, 10% awful sauce. (Either too weak or too strong)

The same thing happened for me last year. I was assigned about 5 of those shops right after signing up with GFK. Lucky for me, the scheduler told me before I even took the quiz to email her before I took the 3rd one so that she could make sure that I passed. They definitely don't want you not to pass, because then they are stuck having to find another shopper.
B Wings are too much hassle for what little you get to eat. Sometimes I wish that lady had fixed her kids baloney sandwiches instead.
I just had a time consuming but decent paying auto shop rejected for the same reason. By the time I got the dumb survey quirks sorted, my report was overdue. I entered the second stage anyway and now get an email that the job is off my board. I'm waiting for a reply from scheduler to my polite WTF email. After the same song and dance after some jewelry shops I think the GfK link will get deleted from my bookmarks.

Many times for obvious reasons I doubt what people
say about msc's on this forum because many times
it ends up being the shoppers fault or an over exaggeration
of the situation.

I can however say after chatting with various people
at gfk over the last 10 days that I unequivocally understand
where all the negative comments are coming from.
The disorganization in this company is simply stunning.
Forget the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. The fingers
on the same hand don't even know what each other is doing.

Perhaps it's a case of them taking on too many projects at once,
and their latest project they are starting I think has put them over the edge.

Those that know me know I rarely, if ever talk negatively about
msc's and in fact it's been so long, I can't remember the last
time I did it.

This doesn't mean I wont ever do shops for them in the future it
just means I will have to make sure I am adequately compensated
for having to deal with incompetenence.

I have a piece of general advice for anyone taking a test for any MSC. It seems obvious to me, and maybe it is obvious to everyone else. Here is my advice. Write down your answers on a piece of paper. Q1: True; Q2: b and e and keep track of it. This really helps. If I was a little more organized, I would keep track of tests that I have to take again every month, because often the questions do not change, or the order of the answers.

They called today and wanted me to do a smart phone shop today to tomorrow. Told them, I don't have a feature phone have a smart phone instead. They said to leave it in the car when I did the shop. Since this was a last minute request for today or tomorrow. I followed up with an email asking if a bonus would be possible. No reply so I went and took a shower, checked the email again then left for my normal job. I get back home seven hours later and then check my email and nothing. Log into the GFK site and get it is down for maintenance. Checked some other sites and it seems that the Sassie system is doing the maintenance. Ah well kracken.
I had the same problem. One of the questions on the quiz is actually wrong. The one about showing the forms to the manager before filling them out. The instructions say to show the forms to the manager when you introduce yourself. I emailed the scheduler the question along with the instructions from the guidelines and she agreed with me. Hopefully they will make the necessary adjustments. Also, these are some great shops. The instructions look cumbersome, but if you follow the survey sheet as you do the audit with the manager, it is a piece of cake.
