Bonus on shop reduced after completing shop?

I saw a shop that had a descent bonus as it was do the day I got an email about it. I signed up, took the test for the shop, and traveled to the store.

Store was permanently closed.

I took the pictures of the closed store and went home and submitted the report.
I was aware that the shop fee would drop (from $14 to $3) due to the store being closed, but I looked through the contract, etc. and didn't find anything about the bonus also being reduced for a closed store (from $16 to $11.20 - 30%)

Has anyone seen this before? All the shops I have done have kept the bonus at the amount listed if the store was closed.

(Oh, btw, I am new here to this forum, but I have been doing shops for a little over a year now.)

that msc always reduces fees for a shop including bonuses
if the location is closed or moved.

No other msc that I know of will reduce the bonus since the
bonus is technically not related to the work involved with doing
the actual shop. As far as that being stated somewhere in writing,
I don't know.

Was it Marketforce? They are sneaky in that they don't technically bonus their shops... they "change" the fee.

no it's not. the numbers the person gave should give it away.

Marketforce has a $3 closed shop fee too.

Just not too happy about this. The bonus is what got me to sign up for the shop, and then they reduce it.

Also, since we are contract workers, and if it doesn't say the bonus may be reduced anywhere, then this is technically a breach of contract/non-full payment. But I realize the $4.80 is so small that no one would give this a second look in any legal setting.
Glad to know it is only known for this one company, as I doubt I will continue doing work for them in the future.

and if you call to confirm the location is closed before going they will give you a flake citation if you tell them to cancel a close location

I was told by GFK that for a closed location, you get $3 plus 70% of your bonus. I only found this out because I did a shop for them that was bonuses a few weeks ago and the store was closed permanently. I asked the scheduler about the fee and that is what she told me. That company is so backwards.
