margaret, this is a v-e-r-y reputable company, so you can relax. From what you've described, it sounds like the Maritz that I've grown to love. Did you ever get the ICA? If not, maybe I can email it to you. Please PM me.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I like Maritz, I really do. Here are a couple of tips to help you with that platform.
Plug in names and phone numbers to your phone. Email will get to them but they will always call you back to discuss it.
Section out time to do your reports. The website is SUPER slow.
ALWAYS call with questions and/or concerns... this is where the numbers will be helpful. They are super easy to work with and will go to the ends of the earth to fix a problem.
As for the computer/fax communication.... Pretend it's the early 80's, all of that technology does not exist (except for their job board and reports which I already mentioned is SUPER slow)

Now if I can just get the ICA submitted maybe I can start shopping for them.

I have been having issues with the Maritz platform recently. I am unable to open guidelines or shops from my Mac. Tried from my tablet, I can view guidelines and start to submit shops, but it gives an error code halfway through and loses everything I've input. Same thing happens from my phone. I called and explained that my shop reports will likely go overdue, since I only have a tablet, a Mac, and a phone for the next few days, because my husband is gone and he's taken my Chromebook.
Their only solution was to tell me to download Internet Explorer. Tried that... still can't open guidelines or report shops from my Mac. After extending my report deadline three days, today we finally decided to just remove the shops from my log and offer them to someone else.
Not a big deal, since I needed gas anyway, but I burned gas and time driving to all of those gas stations and doing the audits.
Really wish they'd get with today's technology.

I'm using Firefox for Windows and have done many Maritz shops with no problems at all. This includes uploading many photo's for the grocery store that I need to send about 25 pictures with the pop up inset photo screen. I wish there was a way to batch upload photo's for the same question. That is the worst part of the website, going back to the report and re-clicking submit photo and getting one green checkmark at a time on the same question.
Firefox uses the same HTML engine across all platforms, so it should work with your Mac as well.
