I'm in NJ. There are quite a few that have jobs here. I'm only signed up with 10 (I recently started doing this more regularly). And those 10 have kept me fairly busy. I'm hoping to network at ShopperFest this weekend to find even more companies who shop this area.
sign up signup and oh yeah signup...

Keep signing up for every company and you will find the work. Go out to jobslinger.com to find some companies as well.

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all
I doubt that anyone is going to tell you which companies have jobs in NY or NJ. I know that no one will tell you the names of clients for the MSCs because doing so would be a violation of their ICA. I know that I am not going to tell anyone which companies have jobs in my area. That would be foolish.

Go to the bottom of this page and sign up for as many companies on the Official List as you wish. Its hard work and time consuming to sign up, but worth it in the long run. I am signed up with every company on the list (and more that I found on my own). Good luck!

Welcome to the forum, porshe. There are a lot of mystery shoppers, and many shoppers face a lot of competition for jobs in their area. The most time-consuming part of MSing is researching and building and maintaining a MS client list. Many shoppers invest a significant amount of time in this research, so their lists are valuable.

Visit the new shopper area for how-tos and register with at least 50-100 of the companies in the list at the bottom of the page. Check out Jobslinger for some companies in your area. Plan to work hard and spend a lot of time getting started and getting your list set up.
