Bizshoptalk

I just did my first shop for them. I have to say they are AWESOME. I encountered issues with my shop refund and they just went for it and handled it. The folks there score very high with me.

I applied with all Prophet companies including this one through the Prophet master site. These guys have not accepted me yet. Do they have a lot of jobs? I wonder if I should e-mail them directly.
I don't know that they put their shops on a job board. I got an email about this one, and responded to them directly.

I too signed up with all Prophet companies, but I found out recently, it actually did not sign me with all of them. Some I had to go and sign up with myself.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that the master site did not actually sign me up with any of them but rather made my information available to Prophet clients for them to notify me of their existence to go sign up with them. So new clients are likely to send/have sent out global emails and existing clients with a need in my area can have emails sent out. You are not working for Prophet but rather for their clients and each of those clients may have different information they want on their applications as well as a specific ICA you need to sign with each of them.
Same here lisa. The assumption may be that you'll get signed with MSPs who not only accept your application through Archon, but that also may/will have shops in your area. It's a bit helpful, I suppose. But, not all MSPs, Prophet or otherwise, email shop availabilities. Following my master signup, I've found that I actually was signed with Prophet companies who had shops where I live - and I didn't even know the MSP. I occasionally check with JobSlinger (who has MSPs other than Sassie), and that's how I found out.

It would be helpful if, after submitting the master signup, a list was returned that showed which MSPs accepted the application. I did get a few confirmation emails from some. And, then what happens when MSPs lose and gain clients? I don't imagine the master signup perpetually updates for us.
Yes, I think the master app only puts you on their radar, but I don't think all MSC's use it the same way.

The problem is that once your application is in their system, you cannot apply again directly. For example, I signed up through the master site and was soon approved as a shopper my some companies that use Prophet. Some other ones got my info but for whatever reason did not approve me. Now when I go to their site and try to apply, the system checks my e-mail and says it already has an application on file and there is no need to re-apply.
I've been stuck in this "no-man's" land with some companies until I find out for sure they have some jobs in my area and e-mail them directly to approve me. Looking back, I wish I never used the master site but applied with everyone individually.
They are under the Prophet Shopper Share Program - that a site Prophet Support referred me to. I feel that I can trust Prophet. I think I am going to sign up with them
I believe I will start with a small assignment. The Prophet Shopper Share Program is just a website with the companies on it you register with individually. I would guess it's not the same as the master site. I received an email from Prophet Support with a link to this site.

I just did it and, my gosh, it was so-o-o-o fast and easy. We'll see what happens.....

Thank you, Mert!
