RSG isn't paying or answering me...how about you?

Ok. A few weeks ago, I performed and completed a couple of cell phone shops for RSG. The shops were accepted, and the shop log was updated to say I'd be "Paid on 11-15-14. When I wasn't paid by the 17th, I contacted them by telephone. I was told that I would receive the payment on Friday the 21st. I even got an email confirming for Friday. Well...today's Friday. Not only was I not paid, but now no one answers the phone, or voicemails, or emails anymore. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do? Should I just count this as a loss?

They probably did pay you, give your bank a (business) day or two to post it.
I'm sure they aren't ignoring your phone call, maybe they're in a different time zone, or in Denver or something or maybe they just don't like you
But since you're "the GOD" why do you need the money anyway?
Give your bank two or three days.

Thanks for the replies. Even more for the sarcasm (@holliscary), but they pay by PayPal kike several other companies I shop for. With everyone else I get an email from PayPal immediately. So I know I haven't been paid.
Thank you for recognizing the sarcasm, too often someone gets annoyed at it.
I've had a few occasions when paypal was a business day behind (not often though).
I'm just saying, I wouldn't get too upset for another day or so (easy for me to say)
Never had a problem with them... Let us know how it works out.

O.o o.O

Happily shopping New England and beyond!!!!!
Sorry, I didn't realize they paid by PayPal. Since they told you it would be there Friday, I'm with you on this. They're a little late. Maybe it will show up Monday. Good luck and let us know.

This is true, and just because a company has been good for a long time does not mean something isn't amuck... shat happens so please let us know.

I did receive my 11/15 Paypal deposit from RSG, for shops performed in October. You say you competed the shops a few weeks ago...were they done in October or November? Their payment schedule did recently change, although this would not explain why your shop log shows an 11/15 pay date, if they were done in November.

I got paid for my rsg October shops on 11/15/14. Check that they have the right paypal address.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Thanks guys. I've checked the PayPal address, made sure everything was good with my account (other companies have paid on time recently using the same account). I don't know what is going on. This company was highly recommended. Seemed like a good msc to work for. But now the scheduler doesn't even answer my emails anymore and I can't get anyone on the telephone either. Anyone out there with experience here? I wouldn't even be pressing the issue, but this is my first experience with these guys. Kinda rubs me the wrong way...ya' know?
My experience with RSG has been stellar. They have been more than accommodating and always answered emails, inquiries and been very good in replying on a timely basis. And payment has always been received when expected.
My experience with them has also been outstanding. OP, at the risk of sounding trite, have you actually gone into your shopper profile to double-check that the spelling of your PayPal account is correct. I once was annoyed with a company for nonpayment- all the other companies were paying me at the same PayPal address. I glanced once to be sure the PayPal address was correct and it seemed to be. BUT, when I double-checked, I had typo'd the PayPal address in the profile of that one company although I had typed it correctly for all the companies who were paying me. As soon as I made the correction to my typo, I got paid.
I had some problems with this company, they paid for the first shop I performed for them. However later shops they failed to pay me despite the fact that I had all of the required information for the shop. There was slight misunderstanding of a shop question and they failed to work with me on this matter. Most companies are more negotiable than this company and will answer a question if you are uncertain about something, be careful, they are quite inflexible and rigid. This company might remove your shops if you ask them a question. I lost time and energy because of them, it's quite a risk to work with them.

Sorry but I'm not buying the comment that appears above.

"Slight misunderstanding of a shop question"...care to elaborate?

"Most companies are more negotiable than this company..."...care to elaborate?

"they are quite inflexible and rigid"...care to elaborate?

"This company might remove your shops if you ask them a question"...care to elaborate?

"Ir (sp) lost time and energy because of them, it's quite a risk to work with them"...care to elaborate?

RSG is now BEYOND HELLO and is one of the most respected, honorable and pro-active of all the MSCs and your comments smack of sour grapes and the work of an evaluator that obviously has an axe to grind. RSG/BEYOND HELLO has always paid on a regular and consistent basis and is beyond reproach in that area.

I'm with ParkCityBryan regarding Mistert's post. I've had nothing but good experiences with that trio of companies now merged into one. Maybe the merge caused some issues with payroll.

Have you received your pay yet, OP? Can you update us?
You might check your Paypal transaction list for any payments from Beyond Hello or Mystery Researchers as that is alternate names for RSG (since they have recently merged three companies into one). You might have been paid and just didn't realize it.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Just got paid by RSG and Beyond Hello via Paypal....on time and with 100% accuracy (per usual for both).
I'll just pop in to say that when I did have a payment issue with RSG, they were basically nonresponsive until I posted something about it on this board. There was no dispute about the assignments, they just didn't pay the reimbursement. It took forever to sort out. It happened, as I remember, because someone was out of the office.

Anywho...
I received two separate PayPal payments from Mystery Researchers for November shops for both Mystery Researchers and Insula Research. None of the payments referenced Beyond Hello even though the three companies have now merged.
It appears that until all prior assignments have been cleared that we will see PayPal payments for all 3 merged companies separately and then all payments will be shown having come from Beyond Hello?
My paypal message was titled: Mystery Researchers Shopper Payment

If you are sure you were not paid

I had a problem contacted her and it was resolved very quickly.

I may be a Yooper but I'm a beach bum at heart
I do wish they had more than the candy store up as a shop can only do those every 90 days unless they are hurting. So far for me, it's been 45 days between shops another two weeks and they will call me. But I wouldn't bet on it.
