Presto Instant Shops -- viewing your completed shops?

Hi, first post here, please go easy on me smiling smiley

I recently signed up for Presto Instant Shops, and found a bunch near me for purchasing a brand of "hydration powder" at local drug stores. Part of the shop required me to take them home after purchasing and try them out, and then submit a report.

I signed up for 3 shops, completed all the steps and submitted the shops, but now when I log into the Presto Insta Shop site, I can't find anywhere where it would show that I have submitted them. In fact, I don't even show anything indicating that they were assigned to me in the first place. Every other shopping site I use gives a list of all of your assigned and completed shops.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out the status of your shops with them? I sent them a ticket through their website but have not heard back as of yet. I'll be a little upset if I ended up spending $30 on a product that I never would have bought, and my shop somehow vanished into cyberspace.

Thanks!

Did you check the individual MSC's website?

Yes, their site is designed to be used on a smartphone, and assigns shops to you that must be claimed/completed in a very short amount of time. It is a different format then any other MSC I have seen. I just can't find anywhere on the website that lists my completed shops, or the status of them.
So these shops were not completed for one of the companies posting jobs? When I look at Presto in my area right now it is showing shops from Ath, Bare, Service Excellence and others. The coffee shops were the only I saw that didn't seem to be attached to any particular MSC. The amount on those was so small I didn't look around to find payment info. How frustrating.

Hello RMB2 (and others),

When you look at the Presto map there are two different kinds of shops, SASSIE shops (orange pins) and Presto Insta-Shops (blue pins). There isn't a shop log yet for the Presto Insta-Shops, but one is in the works. For now, you'll know your shop has been approved when you get paid -- we're shooting to pay within four days of shop approval.

If it has been more than a week and you haven't gotten paid, contact Presto Support via our shopper helpdesk at [prestoshoppers.uservoice.com] and provide details including the shop, shop location and date you performed the shop. You may also want to use our helpdesk as your reference for questions about Presto -- you might find the answers you need here on mysteryshopforum, but since Presto is fairly new, many shoppers may not have heard of it.
Thanks for clarifying. I like the format of these shops, as it is easy to pick one up if you are on the go and see it on your smartphone.
Hello RM82,

Glad you like them! Keep watching the map, we've got more new shops coming soon!
Need javascript to run in chrome on Android, but it didn't tell me that right away now I have 3 shops done that I can't finish. So now I'm out $30.00 and I'm really thinking this is more of a pain than anything.
After leaving my phone off for a couple of hours. I tried to finish one of the shops and it seems to have gone through the system. Will try another one later.
2stepps, the javascript error doesn't sound right -- what are you doing when you get it? Are you using an incognito window?
My phone is kind of wonky turned it off and back on it started working again. Moto bionic bought the week it
came out, time for a new one I think.
2stepps, sounds like my phone! The problem is that you never know with new phones if they'll be reliable, and by the time they've been out long enough that you do know, they're "old" and have trouble with the new operating system releases!
Does anyone else love these shops? I love doing smartphone app mystery shops. It seems like an easy choice to me: pick a mystery shop from Int3lli-shop (high narrative and low pay) or a Presto pharmacy shop ($8.00-10.00 for little work.) I do this Presto shop on my computer as opposed to smartphone. I do a couple on my morning walk and come home, scan the receipts and complete the report. I just completed these shops so I am waiting on pay.

My phone is over 3 years old. Bought the Moto Droid Bionic the first week it was out. For the most part it has been a great phone, but I hated the new picture display update. They went with a metro look alike on the pictures instead of ltfd (Last taken First Displayed) but what do I know I'm just the end user and support looks at end users as ID10TS.
When Presto Mobile first came out, I did some coffee/tea shops for them. I was promptly paid!

Glad to see that more shops are available now and I just signed up for 6 of them to do later today. I will be well hydrated by the end of the day!

Update: Very early this morning I signed up for 6 shops. I did the 6 shops this afternoon and when I got home, there were only 5 on the list for me to do. Not sure what happened to the 6th one, so guess I will take back the hydration powder and get a refund. I have enough to last a lifetime now.

I did five of those hydration powder shops last Sunday. I wonder when I'll get paid, considering the holidays.
I was going to do a few of those "hydration" shops. They looked easy enough. But, the cost of the product at the first store was more than the reimbursement. I have no need for baby hydration products.
The product is located in the baby aisle, but it is not specifically for babies. It is like a powdered form of sports drink or vitamin water with a larger quantity of electrolytes. I figured I could keep it on my shelf for any bout of illness that might come.
Every little bit helps... there are $2 off coupons available at the manufacturer website. You still get the full payment for the shop.

That's what I did - I Googled for coupons and there they were!

I hope a log is available soon. I really dislike that there's no record of our shops to view. Where is the accountability?

I am surprised that they let you sign up for six shops. When I tried for the 6th one they told me that I had reached my limit. I had done one on Saturday 12-20 then found out about the coupon and then did the other four on Sunday 12-21 with the coupons.
I did 5 of the hydration powder shops at area pharmacies on Saturday 12/20 and just received payment via PayPal today. That was a quick turnaround considering the holidays. Like someone said, there were $2.00 coupons available online and, though they made my expenditure less, I still received $18 per shop.

I was quite pleased with the ease of self-assignment, the quick and easy (truly!) shops, the fast mobile entry, and the short wait for payment. My husband drove that afternoon and waited in the car while I ran in and did the shops. I did each report as he drove to the next location. They took less than 2 hours, including time driving.

That's pretty good, I'd say. I wish they had a shop log so I would have had better tracking available. Hopefully that's coming soon (like before tax time? Hmm?).
Got mine also! Though it took a bit longer on mine as I had to drive myself. I keep mine in notepad as comma separated, then transfer to an OpenOffice Spreadsheet (paste special) when I get paid.
I thought I had six shops, but when I went to enter them, I only had 5 which was the limit. No big deal. Took the product back today as I was driving past the store I was not assigned.

Got paid today for the 5 shops. Yay! Quick and easy.
Hmm, this is going to take some investigation...you shouldn't be able to claim more than five. Thanks for the reports, all, I'm sending this to the QA team and we'll work to reproduce the problem.
I can see a lots of them still available but cannnot pick more...

I've only seen coffee shops and a few shops posted on behalf of some MSCs.

I hope there are plans to integrate something like this in Jobslinger.
