Congratulations on completing your first shop! (Market Force)

I received a congratulatory email this morning from Market Force for completing my first shop. The only thing is, I have been working for them for 7-8 years. I did complete my first 2015 shop for them yesterday. Maybe everyone is getting a fresh start this year.

I've been with Market Force for 4 years now, and have done hundreds of shops (never really counted, but I did get one of those congrats emails for how many I have done)... Did 3 shops yesterday and got a "Congrats on completing your first shop" email, along with FAQ on payment and how to know if your shop is approved.

Anyone else get this? I'm confused, must be an error of some kind.
That is a good example of why we need to do a forum search before starting a new thread. Maybe Jacob or a moderator can delete the other thread or merge the two threads together.
I understand what you mean, but the existence of short duplicate threads is one of the least of our problems. I'm not inclined to do a search if I have a "new to me" topic I want to discuss and I expect other members are much the same. Most of our threads wind down and fall off the page after a few entries anyway. This looks like one of those. I believe the only time duplicates are a real issue is when we have two or more threads discussing the same subject at great length at the same time. The moderators have been good to combine those. Combining every possible duplicate seems like a lot of work for not much benefit.

I guess I am AR then because I did a forum search before creating this thread. But no biggie. I have read several other threads where members complained about duplicate threads.
I got the same email. At first I thought it was for the first shop of the new year. Sure wasn't my first shop with them. Who knows.
I got the following email reply from the MF Help Desk.

"Good Morning,
We apologize for the inconvenience. This letter was sent to already active Shoppers in error. We appreciate all you do as a Shopper!"

Mystery solved.

Hopefully something other than a Eukaryote that can breathe will be able to fix it.
I got the "Thank you for completing your first shop with Marketforce" email too. I've been with them for 14 months. I figured it was some glitch...
I got this the other day too! They were one of the first companies I signed up with, so it's going on a year and a half that I've been with them. Awkward...haha

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
