Bill, I do some work in West Texas but Plainview is 288.87 miles one way from my house so guess how often I drive out for a shop or two. Sorry, you're wrong again, this time about where in West Texas I work. You're working west of my territory, and again you don't know squat about what you're talking about.
Compared to you, I don't make beans doing this. I'm just way down there in the bogs slogging out some lil ol bitty low paying shops that don't add up to anything. It's a miracle I keep on doing this but my mind is not clear (there's that Alzheimer's kicking in again). Hope you'll overlook my failure at the business. I've been doing it a few years now but I'm too dumb to know I can't do this and make it work. I brought in $63.42 last month, though. Not bad, huh? That's near my record month so far and I'm hoping to hit $72.00 this month if I keep pushing.
What impresses me is your blazing success. You hang in there, Bill. You keep racking up those huge pay checks, way to go, AttaBoy and go get'em. I'm impressed with the way you present yourself, yes I am.
And I appreciate all the great advice you pass on to newcomers about not shopping for MF after you made $2500.00 a check working for them. What's that about, Bill? You made the big bucks and you don't want anybody else to make the big bucks? You messed up a good thing somehow and now you want to make sure they can't get shoppers? Too bad, won't work, don't care if you give it a rest or not. Compared to MF you and I don't make a ripple and never will.
I don't work for them much myself as I'm pretty concentrated on a few programs I shop consistently and I don't break my day with food shops that have a window that might not work for me. That said, I certainly recognize that MF is a company a newcomer should give a try. They are friendly to new shoppers and work well to help them develop. They have lots of work available on a national basis. If you cared anything about other shoppers, it looks to me like you would be encouraging the newcomers to give MF a try, but hey that's just me and my opinion about how things ought to be.
I enjoy our little conversations immensely and even more since you've toggled me so of course you're not reading my posts. That makes yours even more interesting and of course leaves all the possibilities open that I can say anything in the world and know I won't hurt your feelings because you're not reading my posts any more. I wish I could let you know that I would never toggle you because your posts are such a hoot and you're a laugh and a half.
What I really regret is that I'm not able to get farther west and shop along with you out there and maybe meet up for coffee or whatever. Right now I'm working north, east, and south of my base and I've got a real good deal going on several programs I'm working. I'm taking all the shops I can get at $2.00 each and it's really adding up. I don't mind telling you, Bill, that my bank account is starting to look real impressive and if you aren't able to replace that work you lost at MF you let me know and I'll be more than tickled pink and green to loan you $10.00 to tide you over.
As to those ten minute shops, don't I wish. It takes me just about that long to get out of the car. I've got something else going right now that may work out real well for me but I'm not sure. My brother gave me a Safari type vest he picked up at a garage sale and it's got a bunch of pockets and it might work out. The only problem is when I get it on and get everything in it, it gets hung up in the car and I have a hard time fastening my seat belt and when I get where I'm going the vest is ballooned out over everything and I can't find the belt to unbuckle it. The vest is way too big but hey it was free and when you're working for $2.00 a shop you take anything you can get.
I hate like the dickens you don't get to read my posts anymore but I just love talking to you anyway. You know, or maybe you don't know, that when a person gets older it's not necessary to have another party to the conversation. So that's what I got going with you, Bill, a one way conversation and this is the best conversation I've had in a while.
You keep'em coming because I assure you I just appreciate the dickens out of your work on the forum.
I hope you'll excuse all the typos etc in this post but I'm in a hurry here as I have three more $2.00 shops to report and I got to keep that relationship with the MSC on the up and up. Don't want to mess up and lose that pay check, nosiree. Good jobs are hard to replace. Til later Bill, you take care now, I'm thinking of you.
