Schedulers who SPAM our emails

Do we really need 3 or more emails a day aboutt he same assignments? I had one who sent 7 identical emails in a row because she said she was sending them out to each city mentioned. And every day I get multiple emails about Spanish speaking phone shops for $4.

I set up a filter to send all emails with Spanish in the subject to a special folder that I call nuisance. Does the trick!
I went to my deleted folder and found this title of one email....very funny!

I Read That More People On Earth Speak Spanish Than English! Do $5 Spanish Phone Shops on Wednesday And Be The Majority!
How about the scheduler who posts the $15 bank shops on here several times a day, every day?
I just received another email about getting qualified for the Best Buy audits. I received three or four this afternoon alone.
I got thirteen emails in one hour from one company, can't remember who it was, I think it was the $15 bank shops that at the time I was not even approved to do.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

I have my spam filter set pretty high, and all the MS emails end up in that file. A couple of times a day I look through and move the ones I'm interested in to my Inbox, then delete the rest.

At least the phone shops one are funny. Though I was a little peeved when I finally replied to one saying "Thanks for cracking me up with your funny titles" and he never wrote back.

I wish I could use a separate email for actual job assignments - one for general spam/mass mailings and a second one for actual jobs I am actually going to do.

I don't see any way to set that up though, given how they operate.

I did Spanish shops for $50 each (required 10 minutes in store) and got paid round trip airfare to Mexico to do them.

Don't sell yourself short. I would not be doing any shops in Chinese for less than that either.
Yup, it is a problem.

I remember the time I got 41 separate emails in one day for the same assignment at 41 different locations of the client in my area. Here is what I did.

First, I emailed a higher-up of that company to suggest 41 emails is too many. They backed off for a while. When I got about 18 in one day (if memory serves), I set up an email filter. All emails from that scheduler got put into a folder that I look at only when I have the time. I have about 60 filters for mystery shopping emails. These are a variety of shops of shops I am not eligible for or prefer not to do. Some filters move all emails from designated MSPs out of my inbox. It is based on my personal preferences.

Back to the 41 emails in a day shop. Without the reminders, I checked the job board less frequently, resulting in less assignments. It was a shame because I liked to do that shop. Later, the shops ended. Maybe the client was unhappy with the service from the MSP. I know I didn't need all those emails. One a day is quite sufficient in the normal course of events.

Now I feel like I missed on an opportunity. Stericycle used to send those drive-thru lunch shop emails towards the end of the month, but most all the shops were in far flung corners of Texas (Panhandle, Rio Grande Valley, Deep East Texas...) and nowhere near me in the Houston area. I really thought of e-mailing back and telling them to send me a company expense card to cover gas and meals and I'll do all of them. Period. Cut me the commish and we'll call it even and I'll be well fed. Voila! Boy, I missed out.
Ugh. Just received 10 emails within a 3 minute spam. All from the same company, for the same type of shop, and NONE listed the shop location, just 'login there's shops in your area'.
I know it takes only a few seconds to trash them. I won't spam they, as you never know when things will change, but seriously? It seems like it would also be easier on them to consolidate emails.
I suppose it could be a 'double post' situation and they didn't really mean to send it that many times, but, they all got the 'delete' button anyway.

If the first word in the email title is "Easy" that is a red flag to me. Easy to hit the delete button.
I know what you mean about getting numerous messages about the same shop and would be very interested if you could help me set up filters, please? Thanks in advance for your response.
The way to set up filters is dependent on your email service. For example, I use Yahoo web based email. From the landing page I go to settings - then filters - then set one up. For example, the filter would have the email address of the offending scheduler in the "from" field. It would be directed to my folder titled "Filtered." You could send it to your trash filter if you like. I like to keep them around to peruse when I have extra time. If you use another service they should be very similar.
