Maritz Teams

Does anybody happen to have a list of the teams at Maritz and what clients they support? Would make it a lot easier when emailing them or even calling them to know who to send to.

Careful what you're asking for.

I know I can never remember what team supports whom. I just call up whoever is available and ask to be transferred to the team that handles so-and-so.
The team numbers change from time to time but here is what I have now:
1 - the blue stuff
2 - the yellow stuff
3 - all the red white and blue stuff that I know of, 2 brands
4 - a mystery to me - may be the dingaling stuff - kern kicked me off - I could say I quit, well, anyway we parted.
5 - the teal and yellow swooshy stuff

Sorry I can't be specific, ICA stuff, you know.

You're right. I quit doing the blue box stuff and I forgot about that team entirely. The blue box stuff didn't work for me. I got lost inside one of those reports and had to call for rescue. So embarrassing.

when you first login it shows you all the mail they've sent you and I just scroll down to the shop I'm interested in and see what team the email came from.
Oh crap. I forgot about the ICA stuff. Well, thanks for helping me out in our super secret spy code, MD. smiling smiley

Blue, yellow, red, dingaling and swooshy stuff. Sounds like a bad acid trip!
I think you're right. They seem just as annoyed at their setup as we are. They're pretty aware that if they just had a little autonomy to make decisions, that they would get every job scheduled at a reasonable rate.
I can't even count the number of times I've been told to send an email to their team box and someone will get back to me. Nobody has ever gotten back to me.
I like the money I make from them, but dammit if I don't have to bust my trying to get them to agree to it.

Hi All,
I recently signed up with this company, as I'm still working a full time job..at least for the moment I don't have very much spare time. My intention was to start doing this if I decide to go ahead and leave my full time job [a client]. I turn 66 this month, and the everyday situation's that occur..the constantly walking on the concrete floors..and having some management that has little if any respect for you as a person have really started taking their toll on me.Now I'm really beginning to wonder if I chose the 'right' company ??
David

Mod note: Hi David. Please stop linking the Mystery Shopping Company with one of it's clients. It is one of the posting guidelines for this forum. Thanks!
David, are you asking if you signed up with the right company when you chose Maritz? Maritz is definitely one of the right companies, but I encourage you to continue to sign up with more companies. Although most of us only work for a few companies, we are signed up with well over 100. I have adapted well to Maritz' program and I work almost exclusively with them, but I am also signed up with many other companies so I have a lot to choose from if I want a change. It's better to keep your options out there and not lock yourself in with one or a few companies. It's job security in case you want to do something different. Or consider that your favorite company might surprise you one day by deciding they want to move on to some other shopper in your area.

At the very least, David, you should sign up with Maritz, Market Force, Stericycle/Corporate Research, Bare, and Intelli-shop. They have shops pretty much everywhere, and you'll be exposed to a variety of scheduling styles and editing styles. Branch out from there based on comments you reach here until you're finding more shops than you have time to do ... then keep adding more shops. The more experience you get with a company, the more likely they will be to offer you better paying shops, bonuses, first crack at the good stuff, etc.

There is a link at the bottom of this page with information about a couple hundred or more companies. And sign up for the magazine -- companies get reviewed there and different kinds of shops are reviewed to help you find stuff you might enjoy doing.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I don't see what's so hard about knowing which extension you should dial. It is spelled out ever so clearly when you call.

"If you are replying to a message from team 1, press 1. If you are replying to a message from team 2, press 2, If you are replying to a message from team 3, press 3..."

What could possibly be more helpful?

Because casual or first time Maritz shoppers have no clue if the Big Widgets account is handled by Team 1, Team 2, Team 3.....

Yeah. Joking.

I didn't know Maritz got the Big Widgets account, though. I'll have to sign up for some of those.
Ah, I'm getting old, I didn't notice the sarcasm font without my glasses on. winking smiley

Nah I was just the first to make it popular.

Big Thingamaboobs does not have a team number. They have a team letter. It is Team DD!
I do the same thing, I just go to the O and then say I would like to speak to the team that handles ------.
They will get you to the right team.
I wish there were more gas station audits near me. I am either not signed up with the right MSC, which I doubt since I'm signed up with about every one known to mankind; there just aren't any near me, which I doubt; or some other Chicago area shopper just has a faster trigger finger than me, which I don't doubt. smiling smiley
