Intellishop

I saw yesterday on their website that they want three menu audits of different ff places for eight bucks!

Are you surprised it's so low or surprised it's so high?

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Just let the danged shop sit there. Not worth doing.
Even for them $2.66 is low for something that involves actually getting dressed. I have a hard time imagining how these could result in any profit. My favorite was they only list one address with the other two revealed after you self-assign. The one location near me did not have two other FF joints all that close.

Yes I saw one too by where I am currently staying. Now would have been a 15 minute drive total to all 3 and a 15 minute drive back add another 10 minutes to drive into each one. Now add 15 minutes for picture and another 20 for the report. so we are at an hour and 15 minutes total time. Hmm that comes out to $6.40 per hour oh damn they don't include the time machine to take me back to 1950 when it would have been worth it. But of course did they even have mystery shopping in 1950. I shall ask maritz lol.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Unfortunately, someone will take them under the excuse of "I drive right by there anyway" or something and the price is totally justified to IS.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
These are slowly disappearing in my area. I was hoping people would let them linger so that IS would increase the pay.
I laughed the other day...they are restarting a luxury car shop in my area. You have to drive one of the approved vehicles, in the approved year to complete the shops. For $18. Say what??? They then posted a "route" shop...3 different vehicle dealers and that one paid $45 for all 3. Say what??? I just completed one for a different MSC and was paid $50 for one shop in one location. No way would I go to a car dealer, and fill out the report, for $18.

Nothing or nobody makes Intellishop look good.

I recently accepted two car dealership video shops for $75 each, which is the bare minimum I accept for shops like this due to the time involved. I took a look at the online report, and surprise - it's the regular written report with heavy narrative. I emailed the scheduler right away, who assured me they were aware of it, and that they were replacing the full written with the more common video online input (date, time, what's the file name, etc). So, I didn't worry about it. I complete the shops several days later, go online to input the brief report and surprise again, still the same written report. Had a lot of family stuff going on that week so shame on me for not following up before I did the videos. Because some of the blame was mine, I did complete most of the report but instead of some of the long narrative entry, I wrote "Please refer to video." I got a response from the editor, giving me a 5 on the report, saying that even though it's video, they still expected a full, detailed written account of the experience. On the one hand, I was surprised they didn't send it back to me asking for more narrative, rather than just grading it and submitting it. On the other hand, lesson learned - next time I am asked to do a car dealership/test drive video for Intellishop, my fee is NOT $75.
I did the $75 shop but I don't think it was Intellishop. (someone correct me if I am wrong) It's been 3 years now. Not a fan of the car shops. This one you had to do a Webinar/WebEx with other shoppers live with a the sales director, as I remember it...

The only other car shop experience I had with Intellishop was the $17 dollar one and they did not have the car on the lot but I was paid fully for the shop. I just don't like the car shops enough to do them.

I guess I got spoiled with the $75 one and never did one again smiling smiley
Are you referring to the 2-visit negotiation car dealership? Yep, I did one of those once as well. Never again. The ones I did with Intelli just recently were video.
I think that's hit or miss or they can't make up their mind. I know some have done them in the past and they had the full report. I did 4 or 5 last year that did not have the report. Looks like they've gone back to having a report.

I wish they would make up their collective minds about the video shop. I've had the unpleasant surprise of a full report several times. The only saving grace is I can knock one out in an hour or less. As to the comparison of their written shops with Bestmark's paying a few bucks less, at one time Bestmark did not require a test drive so the difference was a 20 minute shop versus a 45 to 60 minute shop.

I'm going to charitably assume "teamtopgun"'s email blaster is broken since they've sent me about 20 emails in the past 15 minutes for different variations of the same shop.
Intellishop does one thing and one thing only RIGHT...they pay consistently (well, within a week, give or take!) each month. Otherwise, they will screw you up and down until you're worn out like a mule!

They recently declined one of my luxury auto shops because the ARMED security guard who directed me to parking said, "Can I get an employee for you?" I declined, knowing I was going inside to do the shop....5 minutes go by, no contact, then I walk up to a salesman who says, "I'll be right with you." Six minutes go by, and the shop starts....sounds like a reportable set of interactions to me, so I write it in the report....Nope! Declined! No pay! Well...I won't bother with them anymore....
I'm doing an auto dealer shop on Monday that started out at $17.00, then went to $25.00. It now has a bonus of $10.00. I'm glad I waited to request the shop.
More sour taste from Intelli-shop...they originally scheduled a "Home improvement" store shop with me for 10-2 on Monday, 5/18. Then, it was changed to 5/17. I requested it to be changed back or extended (politely), as I can't go today, Sunday.
I got an email back promptly which said it HAD to be done today (5/17), when I know they are allowing these shops to be done on Monday, 5/18. Strike One. I politely told them it was impossible for me to do the shop on 5/17 and that while i was ok with tomorrow (5/18), I would have to cancel if they insisted on 5/17.
Just got another emeail from them...they cancelled that one (Strike Two) AND my other scheduled shop for 2-7 on Sunday. Strike Three! When I asked why (?), I received no response, just butterflies and dead air!
Like Groucho said, "What a busload of fools!"
I looked at my shop log recently, and for a shop I completed in April is still under completed, not received. Theres no grade, no comments, no "shop fee" nothing, arent we supposed to get paid for these shops in like.. 3 days? Lol I have never had this happen to me before, is this common for intellishop to wait like this? Ive been shopping with them since February. .

I have shops that were done on 4/28 in my log and they say "Received" but no "Payment Pending." They do not have a rating assigned to them. I am assuming they just did not make the cutoff for May payment.
Hey newmom, I just got my notice from Paypal that Intellishop has paid me. My shops from 4/28 were included in the payment even though they never said "Payment Pending." So, check your records. If you didn't get paid, you might need to contact them.
Those two-visit car negotiation shops are difficult, at best. And the henchman who is tasked to the program by MR is a bully and just plain not very nice...including insulting emails and a holier-than-thou attitude. (Must be a shopper or car salesman who got promoted!)
So, what does one do when the salesperson and sales manager just flat out refuse to give you a printed list of fees and prices?
I can answer my own question: You cannot complete the shop; You do not get paid; tough luck.
The car negotiation shops are not done by Intellishop.

As an aside, if you want to get the paperwork, you have to get a little creative. Explain to them why you want it (hint: not because you're a mystery shopper). Come up with a reason. Right now the only reason they can think of is that you want to shop around on them. Give them another story so they won't suspect you.
Don't even get me started on Intellishop right now....

I took a bonused senior living shop, after having just done the same shop at a different location earlier in the week. Scheduler said great, assigned it to me, we had agreed I would make the phone call that Friday and schedule the shop for THIS week.

Last Friday, on the day I said I was going to make the initial call to schedule the appointment, scheduler put a flake citation on my profile. Said I didn't do the shop by the due date. HUH? First negative citation, ever, in my 10+ years of doing this, and I didn't actually flake! Repeatedly emailed this scheduler, of course she ignored my emails and then cancelled the shop. WTF??? I have PROOF of our agreement on when I would be doing the shop. I even tried to email her from a different email address of mine, thinking my original emails got stuck in yahoo spamdom. Nope. No reply.

I am quite pissed!!! I did nothing wrong.
