So, yesterday and today, I was selecting shops, and whenever I selected one of a certain type, for example, a grocery store or burger guys, the rest of the shops for that company went away. The grocery shops had several locations available, and I usually do several locations. This time when I chose the first store, the rest of the shops disappeared. The same thing happened with the burger guys. I wish I had known because I would have chosen the grocery store closest to my house if I had known I could only pick one.

This is interesting, and seems to be a continuation of a trend. When I first started with Market Force, there were no limits on how many shops you could take. The website said that four or five per day was the max, but I always assigned myself as many as I wanted and never heard anything from them about that being a problem (and schedulers confided in me that in fact there were no actual limits). I assigned myself as much as I wanted from 2009-2014 and never got throttled. Then in summer 2014 they quietly implemented a time-defined limit that shut you down temporarily after 100 jobs in a month. I was shut down 75% of the way through a cross-country trip in August 2014, and couldn't take any more jobs until Sept 1. Then in January 2015, they started imposing limits on how many jobs you could accept per month on a particular project. For gas station mystery shops, that limit was only 3 per period, though a scheduler told me they were going to increase that because they were in danger of missing their quota. I was deactivated at around that point so haven't heard much about what has been happening since then.

Hopefully its just a glitch...as it is the $10.50 grocery stores end up being bonused every month in my area as are some fast casual restuarants....I have also seen thr retail store bonused...

I had the same thing happen on the burger shops. They have problems filling those so you would think they would allow one to select more than one shop.

It happened to me. I thought I was going crazy.

I noticed the same thing yesterday, when a few of my favorite shops showed up on the job board at a reasonable price. After I booked the first one, all the others disappeared.......until I logged on using my smartphone instead of my laptop. There they were, and I took all the others that I wanted!

For some reason, my smartphone won't log into MF. Thanks for the tip. I am going to keep trying.

Some clients or MSCs have a shop limit but as you perform the shops and successfully submit a completed report, more shops from that same client with pop up again. I rarely work for MF but this happens with others.

All I know is that I only saw one bonused FF shop in my area (the one that has a drive thru and a walk in, where you have to order medium fries and medium drink) during the whole month. I checked many cities and I only saw two in total. I read that this FF company is undergoing a major strategy change because of declining sales. So now I wonder if the FF company is throttling their mystery shopping program, which might explain the few bonused shops that I have found.

By contrast, the $5.80 FF shops have been bonused all month.

Does anyone know what the current limit for these gas station shops is? Is anyone doing many of these per month? These are the red stations, right? They used to require a small product purchase before the reveal. Then in January they were changed to include a fuel purchase in addition to the audit.

I seem to be able to take 5 at a time. After I complete those, I usually see several more pop up on the job board. This seems to line up with what Sybil said earlier.

I can do over 20 red gas stations easily in a month and there's more showing.

I have given up trying to figure out how MF schedules. I only self-schedule and sometimes I can grab as many as I want and other times they disappear after 2. I think it depends on how desperate they are to fill the shops.

I was wondering what happened. I used to get a FF once a week, (free lunch), but for the last few months I could only get it once a month. I thought I was being punished for some transgression that I knew nothing about. LOL

The new CEO at [name deleted] is making many changes in their marketing strategy according to published reports. I wonder if there is a connection between that and the fact that there are so few [name deleted] shops, and very few with a bonus. The CEO said in an interview that a company can get good market research data but if they are not asking the right questions then they can get into trouble.

jilummer, you need to edit your post to remove the client's name since the MSC has already been named in the title of the thread and throughout.
