Service Check payment

i completed a shop for them in March and recently received an email telling me that I had been paid. The email had a message that read "Claim Money" which led to the PayPal site. Once at that site, I was instructed to enter my ID and password. Something didn't seem right, so I accessed PayPal through the web and my payment isn't there. I replied to the email with this information, and I received the exact same email again...still no payment on PayPal.
Anyone else have this issue?

I have never gotten a message like that one, but I did get a message last week telling me that my PayPal account had been compromised and asking me to click the link that they have provided at the bottom. My scam alerts went off in my head, and I didn't bother with the link, I went directly to the site.

I think that you got a fake PayPal message. Often (if I have time) when I get one, I forward it to the spam / scam people at PayPal and they verify that it is bogus.
My advice is to only go to a PayPal site from a link you have saved in your browser, or by typing it into the address bar in your browser.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I just had my real Service Check payment dropped into my Paypal account on 4/24. No fuss or muss, just appeared like it should, and this was for work done in early March.
The longest it ever took for me to be paid by SC was 85 days way back in 2012. Since December 2014, I have been paid for all shops in under 30 days; longest 28 days, shortest 24 days. They must have changed their payment practices which is a good thing. Wasn't this the MSC that was being bashed in the forum recently?
Okay, back to Service Check. I completed a shop for them in March of this year. I just started shopping that same month, so it was all very new for me. I registered with Service Check under a Yahoo email, but my PP address was Gmail. After inquiring back in May, I realized my error. I immediately changed my email address with the MSC and contacted them, to which they implied the issue will get fixed. I have emailed them several times without resolution. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I can't answer your question, but I wanted to let you know that you can have more than one email address for your paypal account.
