Shoppers' View Payments

I received an email from Moorings Consulting, LLC DBA Shoppers' View via PayPal <member@paypal.com> It said I needed to clam my money for some shops I have done. The amount is correct but when I "claim" it it does not show up in my paypal account. Is this an error or is this a scam? This is the first time I have received money from them and I'm not sure what is going on.

Are you clicking a link in the email to "claim" it? That sounds an awful lot like a phishing scam. I haven't ever been paid by Shoppers View, but with no company have I ever had to claim my money. It's just there waiting for me in Paypal when I log in. Try going directly to www.paypal.com, and change your password while you're in there.
I have done quite a few shops for Shoppers' View and never had to "claim it". They pay by Paypal and I have never had a problem receiving payment from them. I agree with MPorter3112. Change your Paypal password.
I'm pretty sure you never have to claim anything via Paypal. It just magically appears and an email will arrive saying how much was added to your account.
Thanks for the help.
So I have changed my password but still have not received any money for the shops I have done. On my job log it shows them being paid on 5/15/15. I have emailed the scheduler twice and have not received a response yet. Is there anything else I can do to?
Make sure you gave them the right email address. If it doesn't exactly match the address you use with paypal, then they may have sent you money via paypal, but paypal can't get it to you. This can result in some strange messages.

I used to be a gold seller on ebay and we used to see problems like this all the time.

To avoid phishing scams regarding this:
1. DO NOT click on any link
2. Log into your shopperview account and check your email address. Make sure, for example, that you don't have a comma where there should be a period or you don't have a 1 when it should be a capital I. <<<<------------------- This is the most important thing you can do
3. Log into your paypal account by typing paypal.com and see if you have any messages. This is unlikely, but worth checking.
Hi morganpuryear - Actually if you haven't verified your PayPal account (new account, never received money before), the very first payment you do have to claim. After that you don't have to do it ever again. There is a link on the email you received from PayPal OR you can do so by logging into your PayPal account and follow the steps from there.

If you have any questions on this, please call PayPal at 1-888-221-1161 or you can call me at the office and I can walk you through the process. 616-608-1579 is my direct line.

Thanks!
