Late payment from Consumer Connection

I did 3 shops in March this year for them. I am supposed to be paid all 3 at the end of April but till today, I only got payment for 2. They are all the same casual dining shops for the same client. I emailed the scheduler about it. No response. I emailed their accounting department more than a week ago. No response yet. I have never received notification of any problem about my report.
I wonder if any one had similar experiences lately with this company.

Not unusual for them to be late. Keep communicating with them as you have. I've had late payments but never a non payment.

I've had the same experience. Late payments but always get paid. I haven't been paid for March yet either.
Get used to it. This company has a history of being late with payments that has been ongoing for many years. You will get paid....eventually. I hope you're patient!
Thanks for all the replies! I just wonder how late the payments had been for you guys. Are we talking about weeks, months, or even over a year? I got my two March shops paid. I just don't know why they left one Marh shop there unpaid for no obvious reasons and no explanations.
My payments have been a month late a couple of times. Lately they've been paying on time. Is the shop they did NOT pay on the same invoice as the ones they did pay?

No. The not yet paid shop is not on my March invoice. Is is showing on my "pay history " with a status as "hold pay ". Do you know why this one is not showing on my invoice?

I have been shoppig with them for about a year now and I have been always paid on time. This is the first time.
No, I don't have a guess why that would be. I have never seen "hold pay". But I am pretty sure it will not be paid until it is on an invoice. I was thinking maybe it was later in the month and got put onto April's invoice. I hope you get it sorted.

I haven't been paid for March yet.

Yes, I know I always.l get a green "ok for payment " status under my pay history. This is my first time to see the "hold pay " status.
Maybe I should started to feel I am lucky after seeing you haven't got March payment yet, At least I got 2 out of 3 of my March shops paid at the end of April.

Hope you get your March pay soon.
Hold Pay means you need to contact them. If you hover over it, it explains what it means.

About this MSC.. Thanks to the feedback on the forum I have never shopped with them. Sounds like too much of a hassle. Shoppers shouldn't have to keep emailing to get paid sad smiley

I never e-mail them to get paid. So far I've always been paid. But no need to work for them if one has plenty of other companies to work for. I don't. sad smiley
I just received payment for a shop I completed for them in March. Because of this forum I knew that I would probably have to chase them for payment. I took the job because a friend of mine was begging. I fully expected to have to wait on payment, and/or chase payment. Thanks to you guys, I had the heads up.

The shop I did was for a location that I was already going to anyway. So had I not been paid, all I would have really been out is the small shop fee that shop carried. The report was not to difficult and the money I paid out, I would have paid out anyway. So no real lose, other than a few minutes filling out the report! I was trying to get a "Free Lunch," so to speak.

This is really the first time I have ever had to chase payment. I have one quick question about Consumer Connection. Do they often blame none payment or late payment, on "re-management?" I ask because once I finally recieved a response (after about 10 emails) about my late payment, and was paid. I received an email for someone identifying themselves as the new Director of Operations. The email explained that Consumer Connection was undergoing a change in management The email laid out new contact information for Consumer Connections, including, a new company and shopmetrics website address. This person was also the same person that finally responded to my emails requesting payment for March Shops. I hope others have been paid, as I have.

Email shopperpay@ccmonitoring.ca and/or scheduling@ccmonitoring.ca for payments. The address given on the webpage for inquirying about late or missing payments --- linda@consumerconnection.net is being closed, according to the email I finally received in response to my late payment email.

Thanks Prince,

I kind of got my answer from the other thread about the same letter I received from Consumer Connection.

I got the same email that Lady Marious got yesterday. I emailed Linda the payroll person listed on there website 3 weeks ago and just got an reply from Linda saying her account is going to be permanently closed. Yes, there were some management changes happened lately with consumer connection, but I got my April shop payments today.
Consumer Connection has had a change in ownership and we are currently working to ensure that any Shoppers who were not paid in the past are paid up to date.
