BestMark Termination of Profile

After a computer glitch (on my end) resulted in 4 cancelled phone shops in a week, I received an email from BestMark terminating my profile. I contacted a supervisor and when he looked into it, he reinstated my profile. I had completed north of 160 shops for them and now my profile lists 0 shops. Has anything like this happened to anybody else? Any chance my history with them will re-populate or do I just have to hammer down and get my numbers back up? It's a bummer, I was consistently getting good pay and great assignments. Now my board is just automotive and low-end retail. Womp womp.

That is all my board ever shows, too. I haven't done any jobs for them. From your post I gather that after doing a few of these low end shops successfully they will offer better jobs. I didn't know this. Thanks.
I have seen the emergency emails go out for non automotive shops, and never caught one. I don't drive a vehicle that fits the dealerships allowed vehicle by one year. If this is the only way up the shop ladder with them, then I am sunk.
That was definitely my experience. Opportunities appeared for high-end restaurants (black tie attire) and movie premieres that were so much fun. Hope it happens again for both of us smiling smiley
In case anyone has this issue in the future, the BestMark system did populate my previous work history on my profile after a few days, there must have just been a short system lag. Good luck, everyone
I've only every seen automotive shops, web and phone inquiries. I would totally take a low end retail one to get out of the rut with them.
Mundai -
Thanks for the follow up. I am curious, though, as to the sort of computer glitch on the shopper's end that would cancel shops.
I did a batch of shops for them when I started shopping (2010-12), and none for about a year. When I did one last year, I got a message congratulating me on completing my first shop. Did one this week and got the exact same message on the homepage. Maybe their system has a bug that clears things out?
Good thread. Answered why none of the restaurant shops they are posting on the bulletin boards show up for me. Gather they just advertise for new shoppers that way even though the jobs aren't available to us.

I mostly see automotive, electronic retail, some internet and phone shops and some decent restaurant shops that do not pay a shop fee. I've done over 60 shops with them and I really like them, I just wish they could get better clients. My husband has a truck that we use for the oil change/tire rotation shops, but they are cracking down on getting the oil changed too often, saying that the dealership might refuse to do the work since it hasn't been long enough. I think that warning is probably meant for those with factory maintenance still in play. For us, we're way over that so if we want an oil change, we pay for it.

That isn't a bug it's one of the features of the software.
Consistently getting good pay & great assignments? I guess I don't get those listings. All I ever see is oil changes or car dealership visits. They pay so little & the time to complete so long that it doesn't seem worth it to me. I guess you gave to EARN the better assignments by doing a ton of low-end ones first?! I've done 5 shops and am about to give up.
