Hey. I was able to log in with my username and password from GrassRoots and I saw my observations that I did with them.

Me too. i used my username and password from grassroots and it logged me right in. I can see my old observations there and everything.
They don't have any shops in my area now, but I'm not sure I would do them anyhow. Didn't they just stiff a bunch of people?
Wow, thanks for the heads up. I am not seeing any observations for self scheduling though.
Companies buy each others businesses right and left and with it comes what is called "goodwill" or continuing contact with their clients. The clients are able to accept or leave the newly formed company but many stay if things seem okay to them. It is very possible that someone (who may have worked for the old company) saw a great opportunity and jumped in and secured the contracts together with the use of the whole set up. Until we have further information I would not discount the value of continuing our relationship with this "new" company.
Thanks for the info Kate. I am already but they have not made it to the west coast yet it seems. At least there are no jobs listed for me.
Thanks Kate, I was able to log in and it has my entire hustory. I only see shops in Orlando. Looks like the same software with name change.

I noticed that one of my observations is active because I had self assigned a shop for April 2015. How do I remove it?
I can't remember my user ID and password. Would it be the email address(ID) / self made password ?
The current "Principal" (= one of the owners) of Research Powered Marketing was formerly the "Executive Vice President, Measurement and Analytics, Grass Roots America, Inc." for 4 years. Before that, she was the "President, Research Powered Marketing Group/Mystery Guest, Keeping Tabs" for 9 years. [www.linkedin.com]

I was able to log in with my old username and password. There don't seem to be any assignments anywhere. My guess (and it is solely a guess) is that Research Powered Marketing bought the website and "goodwill" from the bankruptcy administrator, and then slightly updated the website.

I just logged in. Using my old Grassroots password, all my history of shops performed and my profile are there. If Grassroots owed me money for some of the jobs shown on this new company's website, I would ask for it.
Great find! I was able to log into the new website with my old grassroots login/password. I see all my old history too. I do not see any shops available in my area.

Has anyone had any luck scheduling or seeing any shops in their area?
The database they have is from a backup from before Grassroots went down. I still have an assignment that I completed and was paid for that is now showing that I did not complete the report.

When I do a Whois on the domain name, they are hiding who they are with a registrar called "Perfect Privacy". This is a red flag, yet does not indicate they are not legitimate. I am trying to reach someone voice and feel them out before I take a lower paying lunch assignment. I will update this thread with more information as I get it.

I located the LLC that they created for the new company on 03/06/15. This was done BEFORE Grass Roots America shut down. Then they removed Michael A. Atkinson as Director on 03/16/15 and added Mike Jones as VP on 3/16/15.

Don't forget that Michael A. Atkinson was terminated as President and CEO on March 19 from Grass Roots America that shut down on 03/31/15.

Interesting. Mine still shows up with a shop scheduled for 4/1. I wonder if they will get back the other shops. The retail shop I did last month with a different company.
Do they still have the same brand restaurant shops available in Orlando like Grass Roots used to have?
They are not answering the phone and did not return a voice mail I left yesterday.
If you didn't read what I posted above, they are the same people that ran Grass Roots America.

Proceed with high caution!
I was quickly paid for my shops when the company closed it's doors, but if I were owed money, and if I were able to log in to the new venture, run by the same principles, and if my work history with that company were listed, I would ask for my money.
