Hello- I have a couple of these shops that are suppose to be starting on Wednesday but I havent received anything for them. They are all confirmed in my shop log. Anyone else in the same boat?

Honestly, RUN fast from this program! Especially with the beginning fees this company charges.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
You won't get that box of chocolates in the mail (and who knows when the shop materials will arrive too)!

Before you do this sticker shop, think about the blistering heat (July) standing outside for one hour, less pay now $10 bucks and your responsibility of sending back any gas cards.tongue sticking out smiley
This barely pays minimum wage for standing out in the heat, perhaps getting rained on, and that doesn't take into account travel distance or time. The routes I saw always had a least one location 30 or 40 miles from the others. Some were worse. This has been discussed before. Read people's comments who did this last year, and the problems they had with late receipt of materials.

It can see a repeat of last year already. Newbies who took a route flaking after the first station. Panic emails going out for $100 bonus. I'll reply to those as there will be no supplies and a PDF form to have the winners fill out.
I remember that all last year... it was hilarious!

I did these last year for 50-100 bonuses. And wont do them for less. I wonder if people
ever got their gas cards mailed that we inputted info for. I made sure to do them early
in morning so I either had zero to enter or 1 or 2 at best.

I just saw that you were warned to read the threads about this on May 31st. Guess you either decided not to, or didn't believe what you read. Now I guess you will be able to contribute your own "war stories" since you chose to sign up for them at the base rate.

I also remember getting chewed out in the grocery store by a woman who recognized me from the sticker project (small town, one gas station) who told me that the gift card I handed her wasn't any good when she tried to use it. I found out later that there had been a glitch and some of those cards were not activated.

The company also had a hissy fit about their vest return saying it hadn't been sent back, I had to scan the copy of the post office receipt to PROVE to them that I'd returned it.

So I signed up for [a gas station] spotter program through Intelli Shop (12 in all) some of them over 1 hour away but it paid $72 so no problem. I was not sent enough of reward cards so I called the scheduler after sending multiple emails and she explained that if I run out of the 5 cards I can send an email to have more sent. I tried to explain that I want to do them all in the same day since it was an hour away and of course I would run out of the 5 since I had 12 locations. She would not do so and I then said I would need to cancel the second set and she hung up on me. So beware setting anything up with them. It was stated cards would be sent for locations but I guess they figure 12 is enough.

Time to get out the popcorn.

You must initially only order a SMALL popcorn and wait for the associate to upsell you.

Yeah, but they have to properly up sell you and not say, "Anything Else?" I always get stuck with the small popcorn and drink. I'm better off going to the first showing and paying $5 for the ticket and bringing in my own box of candy from the dollar store. No report or hassle. No getting there early and then going to the lobby in the middle of the movie. No counting people or looking for theatre checks.

I'd rather enjoy the movie and pay the twilight entrance fee. I'd rather do a quick MF shop to pay for it.
I am pretty new to mystery shopping (starting my third month) and saw this contest on the job boards and thought, "no way" haha. My first thought was that even if someone started early, there could be so much traffic in between locations that it could be possible not to get to some of them in time. Also the being outside in the heat someone already mentioned.

R U saying that $72 is grand total for all 12 shops? you are making way less than $6 an hour once you count drive time & report time.
Someone snapped all of them up in my area. I wasn't shopping last year but the whole thing sounded flaky to me. And then I read all about last year's fiasco here. Better them than me.
I did those last year at $20 a shop for five shops. Took two months to get the materials and they kept saying they were coming this week. I made a commitment so I did not want to flake and kept my schedule clear to do the shops for two months. Once it came and I went to print up the surveys, they had it formatted so printing would put half a survey on one page and half on the next with the next survey starting there. Also no place for the winner to sign. By time it was all done I was so frustrated with them I scanned each page as it was and uploaded them that way. They gave me a 6 because the pages were split and they had to contact me to tell me the stuff was coming. No way I was going through 50 pages and cut and pasting each one for the $20.
So if you want to do ten times the normal work for only $10 and stand around for an hour, have fun. Otherwise run, run, run.
