Looking for Mystery Shop Companies to refer new clients-Update added

I have been working for a MS company who closed business today. I have had a client ask me who I would recommend to pick up their business. They are a self-storage business located out in the PA/NJ area. Let me know if you are a company who could pick up this client, possibly more or if you can recommend a company. Thanks~

Which MSC closed today and have they announced it to their database of shoppers as well?

I have not received the okay to post who at this point in time. I do not think the shoppers have been made aware of it yet. I heard through a client they had received an email stating they closed the doors effective today. No other notice was given that I know of and I was the scheduler. The website is also unavailable for access. I will post as soon as I have been given the ok. Sorry I can't give more info right now.
Okay, I just got the okay to post this. The company is ProSource out of Georgia. They closed their doors today with notice going to clients only. They did not have a lot of clients but there are clients needing their shops done. If anyone knows of a company or if there are company admin on here, please contact me and I will give you the information needed. Thank you. This has left the clients in quite a bind as they are scrambling to find a new company.
How about the shoppers? I'm assuming there are still outstanding shop payments if they still had you scheduling until recently. Were you an employee or IC scheduler?

I tried both phone numbers (404 area code and 1-800#) and they have a recording that they are not working numbers or something similar. The main web site is still working but when you try to log in, it says, "Suspended This site is not currently available for use. The site licensor must contact ClientSmart support to resolve the issue." Looks like another bites the dust,
Doesn't Ritter handle this type of client? Although we are concerned about shopper payment, I believe you were looking for a reliable company that the client may contact for future business? I do not know what their geographical limitations are though, since I am in the Midwest.
cindy, you are going above and beyond here. Hopefully, the clients appreciate and reimburse you for your efforts. The clients certainly must have the wherewithal to find another MSC.

I hope you land a scheduling position with another company, and also that no shoppers were left holding the bag.
There has to be another better paying MSC than Ritter. Most of those who have storage shops have a wide variety of clients across various industries. Any one of them with a nationwide presence should be able to step right in. Meaning any of the good MSCs whether they currently have a storage client or not.

@ Mert..I forgot to quote you....I have a good rapport with the clients and feel bad that they were given no notice. There are shoppers owed money but I was not involved with the financial aspect. I was both the editor (started out as that) and ended up being the scheduler also. No thanks for scheduling positions. I am interested in an editing job if anyone knows of any. I would appreciate it. This was quite the surprise to say the least.

I was an IC doing both editing and scheduling.

I was wondering if you're hesitation to name the company was because you are still technically an employee and/or subject to some kind of agreement preventing you from saying more. On our side I'm not sure anything in the ICA would prevent us from saying a company had officially announced they were going out of business. Since the company didn't bother to notify you or the shoppers, my inclination would not have been to protect them by withholding the name.

Not scheduling for ANY company.

...my hesitation was coming from the fact that he had not notified the shoppers, but had notified the clients, only that morning once the website had suspended his account. I just wanted to make sure it was okay. Maybe I shouldn't have even worried about that at all, but that is part of the reason why I am owed a lot of money. I was too nice for too long and was then taken advantage of. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be nice, actually sometimes it doesn't "pay" at all.

With life in general it does pay to be nice. Unfortunately business these days doesn't work that way. The company made it clear their priorities were themselves and the people who might still be paying them, not anyone who had helped them make that money.

Lisa, unfortunately I am a slow learner...lol Maybe that is why I feel compelled to help the clients left scrambling to find a new company, and the shoppers to go after the money owed them. I will continue helping people and being nice to people because that was how I was raised. I will, however, open my eyes to prevent this happening to me again.
