BEWARE TOM CALLAGHAN

he's SSI shops and he uses shadow shopper to obtain his mystery shoppers. Claims I have to wait 6 weeks to get paid. This is a new thread but the old one is completely full of comments of the same. He does not pay. You will have to fight him for your money.

Not nearly enough information to go on.
6 weeks is not unusal for payment and about average for this industry.

Well, after complaining to shadow shopper who hasnt responded, and to my bruh who is a govt agent, and threatening to call restaurant corporate offices, I got paid.
Sugar,

I'm glad you got paid. But for the life of me I can't figure out who you are talking about. Would you like to share?

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I think the company is Service Solutions Inc., which is owned by Tom Callaghan. We hear very little about it, but it was discussed a couple of years ago unfavorably and slow payment complaints have periodically cropped up off and on.

Having a bruh is always a good thing

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
What the heck is a bruh? "Brother?"

"Evolve thyself and lose all hate...." Orphaned Land
I believe it is an amber colored drink with malt and hops and a cool foamy head, best served cold. Must be a regional thing but we call it a brew around here.
Perhaps the MSC had no fear of a bruh who is a government agent or the threat of the restaurant corporate offices coming down on them but simply paid because the six weeks was up. Just saying.
there is an over 8 page thread of members complaining about this man. The actual ad for the shop had no payment information and when I questioned prior to shopping he said all I needed was a PayPal account. Go ahead use service Solutions Incorporated if you want to I don't care.
I truly do not understand your post. Are you saying you were not paid at six weeks as promised, or are you saying you're upset because the company takes six weeks to pay? You knew it was six weeks going in, so I'm guessing the pay was later than six weeks. Is that what happened?

Anyway, the good news is that you got paid. I can tell from your post you're not interested in working for them anymore, but really, I don't think the threats had anything to do with your getting paid. Especially the "bruh" who is a government agent, that is just over the top and something you shouldn't be using to hammer people. I'm surprised your "bruh" doesn't tell you to knock it off.

The rest of this post is for new shoppers.

I know everyone gets pushed over the edge (me too, I threw a yelling stomping fit day before yesterday and I'm a mature woman and yes, I'm ashamed of myself.) Fact is, that's not the way to get it settled. The best way to get paid, if there is a problem, is to maintain your cool, be polite, and be professional. Coming on this forum and making threats about how much stroke you have and what you're going to do can have no positive results for you. If you really have a problem, as in you're not shopping for them again, the best plan is to move carefully and quietly until you get your money and then fade away. It's better not to blow the bridge and deactivate. Please, take my word for it. It feels good at the time but there can be all sorts of negative repercussions we don't need.

The OP posted at 1030pm on Friday. Perhaps he should of used that time to check is PP account. Because by 530pm, Saturday he had gotten paid, So technically, "his check was in the mail". Meaning he spent all day Saturday in the bed and finally got up at 430pm to check his email. and to Inform "US" that his threats paid grinning smiley off. Let's hope his "govt agent bruh" works for the IRS.

We should all send the OP an email. Ain't nothing like getting junk mail.grinning smiley
