I guess you did not understand my previous post. I did not think it was necessary to quote you since I answered right after your post. My point that some of us have nothing to hide does not have anything to do with ICAs. I was referring using different email addresses and real names.@OceanGirl wrote:
(P.S., that's why certain individuals might want to make sure you're using a different e-mail address for this forum than you do with your MSCs, and using your own real name (if that's what you're doing) is not a good idea.)

If you value your relationships with the companies that you work for, that would infer that they have positive aspects to their method of doing business. Sooo, you can and do keep the name of said company to yourself, so that other members cannot consider shopping for them??
I could be wrong, but I think the point was that he would like to see more people posting the names of MSCs when they can without violating their ICAs. He finds those posts more helpful than the ones where people don't want to name them.@saacman5033 wrote:
After a full page of banter, I'm still not quite sure of the point of this thread.

I think its because so many shoppers are scared to death of any compitition. They blow smoke about how it's "to protect the integrity" or because the MSC "forbids it" B.S.!!! Every MSC I work with begs for referals of family members or friends that may be intrested in working with them. And I've refered several. I'm not worried about them "stealing" my work. I let the quality of my work seperate me form the pack.

If you believe that breaking your ICA on an open public forum is the same as referring people to a particular MSP you are sorely mistaken. If I were referring someone to an MSP I would only generically talk about the kind of work done so that I was not breaking my ICA there either. Shoppers have indeed been told my MSPs to go back and edit their comments about shops made on this forum because they 'revealed too much' and the alternative was termination from the company.
