Iccds
I think David Mo is gone, other people have been doing his scheduling and a bad job of it

Re: Iccds
UH-OH. I liked him. I just got an e-mail from him 2/23. When did he leave?

Re: Iccds
Is David a scheduler in your region or is he the owner or what?? I love ICCDs, but in the last month the jobs have been slim pickings.

Re: Iccds
They have had a lot here, recently. Just must be whatever clients they are keeping and/or picking up.

Re: Iccds
There's a lot about this company that I like, but I find them to be a little uneven. Sometimes the instructions do not match the forms and my scheduler is not very responsive. If the company scores, (I assume they do, but it's not visible), I can't imagine that mine isn't high but lately, I've hardly been offered a thing. I think they're solid and they pay on time, so I will continue to work with them but they've disappointed me over the last month or so.

I've heard other people speak of David in good terms -- he wasn't my scheduler but I'm sorry to hear he's gone.

Re: Iccds
I am starting to get e-mails from schedulers other than David Mo. What a shame. I really liked him. Wonder where he has gone. Maybe he will surface at another MSP soon. I like ICCDS. I find their online reporting system kind of a pain in the neck, and I don't like printing the invoice and e-mailing it, but their reports are reasonable. Some of their fees are low for what they want, but I don't take those shops. They have a couple of client shops I really like. I don't hear much from them, unless a receipt is not clear and I need to resend. They just take my reports and pay me, which is fine with me.

Re: Iccds
I'm a little curious as to how ICCDS makes the decision to avail opportunities to certain shoppers -- I may be wrong, but it seems like they do that. I don't see any scoring on their site, but I find it hard to believe that my grades aren't high. That said, I think I might have been a little bit of a pain to them by pointing out problems on the site or with their surveys. (I believe it's been at least 3 times, possibly 4, that things don't add up.) I've noticed my shop offers are not as frequent as they used to be, and from the "special" emails I sometimes get, I suspect that there are a lot more businesses that they shop than the ones which are more typically offered to me.

Insight, anyone?

I have never seen a whole lot on their site. I do the occasional job. I see the same jobs over and over, especially the ones that eventually get emailed out with bonuses. Mostly their bonuses are too little too late and I don't mess with the shops I think would be a pain to pull off.

Re: Iccds
I get email notifications each time a shop is offered to me -- that's the only time I ever visit their site. I truly think they have a pool, but I don't know how it's determined. Actually, I know for a fact that there's one shop which exists, but it's never been offered to me!

Re: Iccds
I just do not like their shops.Hanging around in a store for more then 20 minutes makes me feel weird.
Date: March 10, 2010 02:26PM
Re: Iccds
I find their shops pretty straightforward, and haven't had a problem with the time. (Some of the ones I've done for ICCDS haven't had any time requirements at all.) I found it much stranger when i did a shop for another company, which stipulated not only a minimum time of 20 minutes, but also a MAX of 30.

Re: Iccds
They have a Vitamin Shop I did that almost made me crazy. The shop is tiny and had 2 salespeople who were all over me. It was all I could do to stay there 20 minutes. But they have some smoothie shops I like a lot. And a couple of mall shops that are ok. And a home improvement store.
Date: March 10, 2010 07:08PM
Re: Iccds
They don't have the vitamin shop here, but an adjacent state has them, so I still get emails. Actually, that drives me a little crazy, that they don't hone in the radius that efficiently. Consequently, I continue to get tons of emails about shops in the other state.

Yes, the smoothie shops are great! I also love that they're not just reimbursement, like they were when another company had them. Actually, if I recall correctly, when the other company had them and increased the purchase requirement, they didn't even up the reimbursement.

Re: Iccds
I just got an email for jobs ranging from 100.00 to 400.00 for the entire program. I caught the email just when it canme in, and applied. The jobs have all been filled, and then there's the retail store....always miles away for 12.00. Something has been going on with them, I think it's the change in schedulers.

Re: Iccds
I haven't ever seen anything from ICCDS priced that high -- lucky you! As for the retail shop you mentioned, the fees for that here are higher, sometimes even bonused. (Lucky me!)

I actually did get some insight about my previous post -- seems like they do indeed rotate shops. I'm guessing that I'll see some of my prior shops become available to me again, but not for the next few months. I also contacted them recently about a shop I know they have, but had never been offered to me. And voila! I got it.

Another thing I'll say about this company is that they always pay on time. I have some criticisms, but over all, they're definitely on my top 5 list.

I think they email that Irene is talking about was for customer intercepts, not MSing. It paid $25/hour, which is pretty good, but you would be on your feet for many hours at a time....and it was a one time gig.

Re: Iccds
I haven't seen anything from ICCDS except for shopping. I wasn't aware they actually did anything else.

Not bad for intercepts at all. There was a place doing intercepts around here last summer at $10 per hr. Not even tempting as there is no shade at the location in question and you don't stand around in direct middle of the day sun in FL in the summer time for extended periods of time. They don't even let the athletic teams have practice between about 10AM and 5PM in the summer.

Re: Iccds
I do many shops for ICCDS and have had no problems. I get emails several times a week. The only problem is they want the shops done that day or the next. I just did three shops over the week end, also last minute because they were actually walking distance from where I live.

Most of the shops that are available are NOT posted on the home page.

kitty, can you elaborate on that? With ICCDS, I only get emails, which I then see on the home page after the shop is offered. Are you talking about the instances I cited above, where shops exist that don't seem to be available to all shoppers?

Re: Iccds
I get e-mail invitations that are then posted on the home page and I can self assign. But sometimes I also get e-mails from schedulers that I have to reply to and get assigned that way. Those are usually urgent shops that need to be done on the same or next day.

Yes, that's what I experience, too.

Irene LA and SMB, you should edit the client name out of this thread. The ICA's we sign prohibit us from mentioning clients and MSC's in the same breath.

I don't know, me thinks I would just take the whole thing private and remove the initials, too.

ICCDS sends special emails out, some of the shops will not appear on your home page. I receive emails several times a week for shops to be done that day or a few days later.

Re: Iccds
Yea, and its a pain. If they sent them out with more notice, some of them could be loaded into a daily route.
