I'd love to know what their mindset is, how they determine what to send to whom. There's one shop that used to ONLY come to be via that special" email, but now it appears on my homepage regularly. And yet, there are others, which I see infrequently, but suspect go regularly to others. I know they think consider me a good shopper, so that isn't it.

It might also be an issue of rotation. Or it could be that different schedulers are handling different accounts or that the scheduler for whom you did the jobs before has been transferred to other clients and took their 'book' of reliable shoppers with them. Just as shoppers are protective of their 'plum' jobs, I suspect schedulers are protective of their 'plum' shoppers.

David Mo used to be the scheduler in my area. I liked him a lot, I'm sorry he's gone.

It's definitely weird. There was a job I knew about that hadn't been made available to me. (A variation of one of the shops I frequently WAS offered.) Then, voila! Came to me in one of those desperate "we need a last minute shop" emails. Unfortunately, it wasn't in an area close to me, but I seized the opportunity to tell the scheduler that I want the shop when it IS closer! To make a longer story shorter, the scheduler wound up calling me and we sort of negotiated -- I agreed to help her out with one of the desperation shops and now I am regularly offered the shop I wanted. They don't give out grades, but the scheduler told me I was a "good shopper" so they definitely do something internally.
There is a method to their madness, but I really don't know what it is! I know there are other shops lurking about, which still appear to me infrequently...kind of makes me wonder if certification does make a difference with this company. No clue.

I get tons of emails from them that are out of my 30 mile route. I wrote them and we took my name off their auto list, but I'm still activated...just did a small job in my town. The scheduler was super nice, wish they had more near me.
