Absolutely. Your data is in their computer, Give them your SS #, your address, your real name or your phone # and they have your history. That is why I only do bank visits where I can use a bogus name and don't give any personal info. Doesn't pay as much but I can repeat them.

Some banks charge from $35 to $50 to close an account within six months.

In my area, they have a ton of $20 non-customer inquiry shops. The only upload required is a business card. Super simple report, too. I pick up as many as I can.
I am having trouble with ATH in the sense that I apply for shops, they go in my "pending" status and never get assigned. They just sit there past the due date. I re-apply for the same shops and they again just sit there. I try to call but no one answers and I get the same answering machine. I leave messages but no response. I understand if they don't want me to do the reports or if they feel I am not qualified. But tell me so I can stop wasting my time applying for and allocating time to perform shops that I will not be assigned. Just cancel them or send me an email, that is all I ask. Don't leave them sitting in pending status for a week.
Whoever schedules for the Big Red bank does not seem to ever assign shops. The Spanish Red bank team is very efficient and will reach out to shoppers with clearly personal emails. The team that schedules the Green and White bank is superb and will often respond to emails in the middle of the night.

I am also getting really frustrated with the Big Red bank shops which never seem to get assigned to anyone, and no scheduler is mentioned. I tried find out out from the Green and White team, but couldn't learn anything.

I've had a super-fast response for the Big Red/White bank, but again I still have pending shops for them as well. Green and White has a lot but I don't speak Spanish, so those aren't worth anything to me. Traditional banking shops with Green and White are easy as pie, but the rotation is what kills me...
Haven not picked one up yet to see--not because I don't want to -- my schedule is booked right now
I keep applying for the two part bank shops ($250) and haven't gotten any assigned yet they keep sending emails for them. Has anyone gotten one of those assigned?
I keep applying. The due arrives, and they relist the same jobs with new due dates. So I apply again. $250 is simply to good to pass up.

My question about these shops where you open bank accounts- Doesn't that negatively impact your credit? Or no?
Any activity involving financial institutions could impact your credit score. Opening bank accounts shouldn't do too much, but too much of any activity can be viewed negatively.
I have some of these shops in my neighborhood. It seemed like one of those "too good too be true" things so it made me nervous. I'm glad this post came up.
Start out with the lower paying account inquiry type shop, or a notary stamp shop. Then you will get some rating with them. This will improve your chances of getting the higher paying shops.

I have also seen them linger in pending. Like anything else, If you find another shop that conflicts that is self assign, I would just cancel my request if it was just sitting there after two days.
I have done well over 1000 shops for Ath Power, including dozens for the Big Red Bank. I have therefore more than paid my dues. My applications for the high fee savings and checking account shops are still just sitting there. All of the locations which I remember being on the Job Board last week (with a due date of last Monday) are there again with a due date of Saturday. When I am in a situation that precludes me from accepting a shop (if I were going out of town or got book up completely) then I would delete the application. However, for a potential $250, I am willing to let it sit there, and even apply week after week.

I've applied for an account opening assignment that would be the king pin destination in a 2 day shop route this Monday. The better not make me way too long or I will not schedule other assignments to make the trip worth it.

I finally got my check that they supposedly mailed on November 3rd. Unfortunately, their postage meter does not put a date on it so I have no idea if the delay was on their part or the post office.
I actually don't understand Ath's schedulers. You send a mass email out to everyone asking for shoppers to complete the blue & red bank shops for $175, and then after taking the test + applying to several, you leave the application in "pended" status while sending out yet another email saying that you need shoppers once again???? I even emailed two Ath schedulers and I still wasn't accepted.

Anyone have any difficulties like this? Very puzzling.
Even the schedulers for the Green and White Bank are puzzled by this behavior and profess not to know who is scheduling the Red and White Bank (I think it is the same one you are referring to as Blue and Red Bank). The potential pay-off of opening a checking or savings account is so high that I keep applying, but something it very peculiar.

I may take a $20 Ath Power bank shop near me, and am wondering if those of you who do a lot of bank shops can say how theirs compare to some for other companies?

I've done many bank shops, both account inquiry and teller shops, and the base pay is quite a bit less than $20. But I usually take the account-inquiry shops at a bonus, so I get at least $20 for them. I consider them worth the money, because they don't take that long.

Would you say that Ath's $20 bank shops are pretty comparable to those of other banks paying in the same range?

Thanks!

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I read your October 11th comment about Ath Power "whitewashed reports." A bank employee made false statements about my report and I was censured by an Ath Power manager. I would like to hear from you, if possible.
BridyC - I think that you are referring to the Red and White regional bank. If so, I think that the $20 platform shop for them is easier to report than the platform shop for Green and White, for which Ath Power pays $14. I am used to the $14 ones, and will do them for that fee when the location is convenient, but I prefer the $20 ones. I also do the $18 ones, but the need to ferret out the schedule of the FSR can sometimes be daunting.
