I've only completed two shops with Maritz. One was completed in July and the other was in the beginning of August. I have yet to receive payment for either shop. I contacted them several days ago and haven't received a reply. I noticed on my profile it says I'm missing my EIN. Is this a requirement for working with them?
Did you submit your invoices? With Maritz you once your complete your shop you have to submit your invoice with a copy of any receipts. You only have to make sure you provide them with your social number no EIN number is required. Contact them at 1-800-782-4299 and press option 7 they usually very good with answering phone. I have doing mystery shops for them for 2 years now and have never had problems with payments.
Thanks for your help! You're right--I called and they answered right away. I guess I was just a dummy and didn't read all of the directions about invoicing. Thanks for your help!
I think they are a great MSC. They like phone calls rather than emails but they will help you and you will get paid. They pay twice a month like clockwork.
Even though Maritz seems to be operating in circa 1960's, I like this company. You need to submit an invoice & receipts as per shop instructions.
I do wish they would use direct deposit or paypal.
I'm not sure how I feel about them. I called today to reschedule a gas station shop because it was pouring rain all day, and the person with whom I spoke made it very clear that she didn't want to extend it (by one day) but was doing so anyway. Most of the people I've dealt with there, however, have been very nice.
What are you going to do when it is snowing ? Most gas pumps are under a canopy so the scheduler was trying to se how the rain would really affect you. Your overall and MID pics could be taken from your car. I hope tomorrow it is not raining for you
I get it. I called Maritz about rain, too, once. I was onsite at a gas station audit. It was in the middle of a route and I had been out all day and it had been pouring all day. I called and asked them if they wanted me to complete the audit because the guidelines stated that the audit should only be conducted when the sky was "well lit." It seemed objective to me, so I called for a little CYA.
