ICCDS

I was referred to this company via a linked in contact. I reached out and got a reply from them. I have never worked for an MSC but looks like these guys are legit? I thought it was s little weird that they asked for my contact info like many of the spam email. Is that typical, no application online?

[www.sassieshop.com] They're legit and they respond super-fast to any issues that may come up (from my end or their end).
They're legit. I first started doing stuff for ICCDS four or five years ago. Haven't done a lot of shops for them (around a dozen or so, I think...), but I've never had any issues doing shops for them.

I have done work for them for about five years. I have found them to be very responsive and great to deal with. Their reports are always well designed and quick to do. I have never had any issues with payments.

ICCDS changed their name some time ago. They would never ask for your information by email. Beware, you are being scammed by individual(s) using the old name of a legitimate company. Chances are you will receive a substantial check in the mail if you respond to them. Do NOT attempt to cash the check as it will bounce. They will ask most likely that you take out your fee and expenses and then forward the balance to someone else, usually by Western Union. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Initially the check will clear your bank and become available funds but when it is denied on the other end, it will bounce and you will be responsible for repaying the bank the money, plus have bounced check fees and likely be listed in the interbank CHEX system as a person who attempted to defraud the bank. Make your life simple. Just don't fall for it. A real shop normally pays a fee of between $5 and $20. Scammers get your attention by promising to pay $200 or more.

The REAL ICCDS is now North Fork Research and you can register with them on line at [www.northforkresearch.com]

HUGE Scam going on with LinkedIn. Be careful.

Scammers are sending supposed emails from legitimate MSC's through LinkedIn but it's a scam "if" they offer you large pay like $300 per assignment. This LinkedIn scam is running rampant right now. Flash below had some GREAT advice.

Can you cut and paste the email you received? Very important so other newer shoppers can identify what a possible scam email from LinkedIn looks like. And like Flash said, they use North Fork Research not ICCDS. smiling smiley
