Did my first shop with Zinier...they do 24 hours payouts!!

A friend of mine invited me to this mobile app based mystery shopping company called Zinier. And I have to say, being a regular with marketforce, bestmark and bare international, it was a huge change. They ping you over the phone, to let you know when a shop is available in the area, you sign up real time, go to the store and just answer the shop questions over the app itself. There were a few questions, where I had to take photographs of visual merchandising, but the app allows you to do it within it. My favorite was how they do reimbursements, I simply had to click my receipt and submit, and thats it. Added my debit card, and the money was in my account next day!!! The only catch is, they are invite only, and you cant just download the app and start doing surveys, but you can join the waitlist here (http://zinier.com/mobileapp). But from the experience of some of my friends, the company on boarded them within 2-3 days of joining the waitlist. Happy Shopping friends!

They wanted your debit card numbers? Does that seem weird to anyone else?

Definitely weird... @ruby.belle2002 Can you elaborate? I've never had anyone providing me payment by me giving out my debit card number... I would NEVER give out my debit card number for someone to provide payment deposit (other than a swipe for credit to my account).
They have two payment methods, straight to bank account, or through debit card. I checked with them on it, they are using a new payment tool called Stripe (https://stripe.com). When I figured UBER uses the same tool and method to pay directly to drivers, it was okay. Initially I thought it was a bit weird too, but looked through the terms and conditions, and they clearly mention that all payments are managed through 3rd party payment provider Stripe which enables them to ensure quick 24 hour payments. They are a company based out of Palo Alto, CA, and have some pretty big name brands as customers nationally (i have personally done some shops for some), so don't think its anything sketchy.

You sound a whole lot like a marketing pamphlet ruby.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind
FINALLY, companies headed in the right directions for 2015!
Walmart has debit cards that I use when I want to make sure no one can use my info
and I provide it for online purchases and some of the scuzzier gas stations around
and when I travel and do some of my shops
@spicy1when i signed up i had 5 invites, had to give them away to friends sad smiley sorry! hopefully the waitlist thing works...good luck!
A quick Google search seemed to have all information looking like it was produced by this "company" itself. Fits my "Not with a 10' pole" category.
The "app" was created by the company? Better yet!
I can have an app created for me and buy all rights to it.
Maybe I'll have an app created to keep track of my miles and expenses that are deductions
Walmart is a well-known company. This one is not. Plus, when I google the company the website isn't current on their security/certificate or untested so my anti-virus software doesn't recommend it as being safe

It's Walmart, to use their "prepaid-disposable-deposit as little or as much as you want - no one can take $$ that's not there to take - debit card to deposit $$ on when you have to give a debit card # to someone or an entity you don't want having access to your personal account-info...lol
Castforce didn't pay big bucks for mobile certificate, but they're legit.
You know, as a company, you have to pay for those things, right!?

Not sure where people got the no certificate thing, I clearly see a green verified thing in my browser when I visit. [www.zinier.com]

Also figured even market force doesn't have that green thing security/certificate.
As is KatK who registered at 9:32, posted a "like" immediately and evidently departed since the last activity was at 9:32 with no posts at all.
Since you brought up Gigwalk and Field Agent, how come my phone says "Gigwalk has quit working", and all the jobs on Field Agent are 5,000 miles from me?

Update the Gigwalk app if you are on Android.. and FA jobs have seemingly dropped off a lot.
Linked-In states they have 1-10 employees.
A Zinier App has only 1 review (1 star).
Seems to have some association with India as its base.
Uses the term, "Kick Ass" on its front page.
The app isn't available on Google Play.

No. No. No. No. and No.

Note: Area code for customer support is 415 which is San Francisco area. Though, with the ability for anyone to obtain that area code regardless of location it's still somewhat dubious.

Wow, the amount of paranoia shows how messed up the traditional mystery shopping industry is. To put everyone to rest, they are a young startup out of MIT/Stanford University. Started by kids from MIT & Stanford, please be open to innovation, this industry needs new players who leverage new technology and bring a change to this traditionally offline industry.

Here is more, please do your research completely before stepping over young companies trying to build something new. I dont think Silicon Valley Business Journal will cover a "whatever" company:

We also have watched over the years as shoppers have been repeatedly screwed so yes, caution is the better part of wisdom, especially when an avid promoter suddenly appears on the scene with no prior involvement with the forum.

IS this app mentioned in this article?
I read the article.
It's about a known company and at the VERY end of it the person mentions all companies that made a "pitch." This is all it states about Zanier:
"Zinier, Palo Alto: The technology pitched by CEO Arka Dhar is aimed at helping brand and retailers come up with ways to improve sales through customer data gathered from a variety of sources. It claims it can so this more accurately and 20 times faster than any other company in the industry."

I call shenanigans on Ruby.Belle2002.
Zanier has nothing on Facebook..though claims to be a tech company.

Arka Dhar, CEO/CO-Founder has a Linked-In page. States he graduated in 2010 with a B.S. in Engineering from MIT but also mentions management during the same time frame. States he's been CEO/Co-Founder since August of 2014. Before that he worked in India for 9 months.

I question if Zanier truly even exists or if it's just a start-up working on borrowed funds. It may eventually be something but as of now it's way too risky. Due to Ruby.Belle knowing the MIT and Stanford connection which I eventually found looking through various sites and eventually crunch base and the info of the other Co-Founder, Andrew Wolf I put the odds on Ruby.Belle having nothing to do with the company on a non-sales or non-management level at zilch, zero and nada as well as all the attention paid to this post by the person...it's deceptive and I don't appreciate it.
