More for Your Free Pizza Money?

If you shop Papa John's, you know that the mystery shop company says that you can use coupons, gift certificates, or accept any specials that are offered.

Here's a chance to get more for your free money. On Groupon, there is a deal for $25 which includes two free, large 1-topping pizzas and a $25 gift card for $25.00.

That means, you can buy the Groupon, get two free off-assignment pizzas for you and your family, and get a $25 gift card you can spend on assignment.

You then spend that $25 gift card buying 1-2 topping large pizzas during shop(s) for [the company], and you get your $25 back! Free pizzas!

Two Free Large One-Topping Pizzas with Purchase of $25 Voucher at Papa John’s ($55 Value)

Please, no Papa John's haters or health nuts.

Important point: You can't buy a medium pizza for the shop. tongue sticking out smiley

You won't be reimbursed for more than one pizza, so if you buy two, you will only be compensated for one.

In your off time, you can get the two mediums but not on the "shop."
TYPO! Edited.

You would do more than one assignment using the gift card, each time buying one pizza, and you would be reimbursed for two [or more, depending on your local pizza prices] pizzas.

Thanks for sharing! We ALWAYS use coupons on these shops to get free pizzas or side items! Papa Johns is offering one free pizza right now with a $25 gift card but this is even better! smiling smiley
My family loves Papa John's, I just can't find the company that does them now. Was CRI.
There is one that does them now I know of but commonly only pays in reimbursement...grrr....
Rasky, The main one that does pizzas (they are not the Sassie site -- they have their own software) encourages the use of coupons. I think that is better for the image as well as a regular customer would be doing the same thing (trying to save money!). It's the shoppers that most likely would not care to spend more money as we know we will get it back anyway. They list the pizzas most of the time with no reimbursement but I never take them from the website (I just use it to see which locations are still available). I always deal with them on the phone or by responding to the emails they send.

BTW...I did see that one chain of the competitor shops lets you order medium pan pizzas. If you find a groupon, etc. for that chain, you could use them that way. However, they do not "bonus" the competitor ones so they are reimbursement only (the coupon would make it so you would make some money at least!).

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Thanks for the great tip. I do these shops and eat the pizza. I do prefer other pizza places but if I get it in a job I will eat it! Seems like the gift card would be used up in just one and a bit shops in my market where the cost for one pizza delivered is around $23.

You can ask...but like a bunch of unruly children, we often pay no attention! LOL!!!

I like Papa John's OK. But it's 2 hours away, and they really aren't fit to eat after being in the car for two hours. So I usually take my pizza to the library to get my photos, and give it away to the swarm of teenagers hanging out!

Not to mention that a whole pizza for a single person is a real diet-buster.

Will it reflect payment with a gift card on the receipt and will this be a problem for the MSC?
I've used a gift card a couple times and I haven't had a problem. I even used part of a gift card and my credit card for the rest and the full charge still showed up on my receipt.

shopping in Placer, Yuba, Nevada and Sacramento Counties in Northern California.
Thats awesome! I take all the fast food shops I can get and I always give my food to the homeless after checking quality.

I've been doing a lot of the PJ's shops for the past several months and have become the Pizza Queen in my apartment complex. I usually keep one for myself and then give the others away. I found a new place to give the pizzas to that really appreciated them. My daughter is an RN in a local hospital so she made arrangements for me to call the front desk of her dept. and tell them I was in the parking lot. I showed up with 4 pizzas around 5 PM and both day and night shift nurses love me!

I love the PJ shops with the bonuses and the schedulers at the MSC know if they hit a nice bonus I'm a sucker for doing several of their shops. Easy reports, nice schedulers and editors. I once uploaded the wrong pics for the project report and the editor just emailed me and asked me to upload again. She also gave me feedback by telling me my pics were just what they wanted.
