Many companies R paying early due to end of year & wanting to close out their books. I've received so many early payments this month, I'll be able to pay off all my Xmas presents & cc bills by the end of 2015.
north fork is great with the pay outs. usually get mine within a few weeks of the shop.
I must chime in. NorthFork not only pays promptly, but they really try to reply to requests quickly. There are several companies that take their time assigning, or answering questions, and this is not an issue I have run into with NorthFork. Way to stay in top of things!
Same here. Although it's been a while since I did anything for them as I had been a bit busy with other MSCs. But now that you brought it up, I'll be checking my emails.

I like North Fork as well. They don't have that many shops my way, but one or two crop up from time to time. They are quickly reviewed and payment is prompt.
I didn't realize it but I also did shops 3 in total between 12/22 and 12/23 was paid for all by Northfork on 12/24/15. Lets all give this MSC a hand lets hear it for this MSC

I enjoy the shops I do for this company, although a previous scheduler got more work out of me because he was able/willing to offer better bonuses on shops which were difficult to assign. Sometimes the reviewer is picky and the report requires revisions, but those are usually easy to make, and the revision process is pleasant.
I have worked for them for many years, they used to be a source of small but regular supplemental income. But lately have had a good deal of difficulty with communications. There is only one store in my area that works with them these days, , so it is hard to tell if my problems are because that client keeps changing their rotation and other requirements. In any case the required days between shops and/or departments have changed many, many times over the years, with no notice to me.

VERY FRUSTRATING!

There are now usually several shops a month that they have difficulty filling, but I am often shut out of self assigning, probably because of the above.

I then email the scheduler, who often does not respond for several days. By which time I have been waiting for a response, often keeping my schedule open so I could do the urgent shop. By the time I get a response, if I ever do, the deadline has often passed.

I have had little or no luck asking for help with these issues.

Do any of you have any tips for working with this situation?
Yes call the schedule on the phone M-F 9 am to 5 PM EST. They are listed on the Northfork website.under shopper help.
