Guess I won't be shopping for GAP anymore.

There is a certain FF in my area shopped by GAP and another MSP. All locations to the east of me were shopped by the other company and the ones to the west were shopped by GAP.

I just signed onto the other MSP and noticed next month they are shopping the locations that were shopped by GAP. I think that was the only business in my area shopped by GAP.

Yes I am sad about that too. I did well with GAP on those shops and not sure if the other will pay enough.

The other does start the shops out at $2.50 less than GAP. They do bonus them after a bit, but not quite as high as I noticed on GAP.

I'm not sure. Since they were all over on the other site today, and the other site already had most of them in my area to begin with, I just figured all the others in northern IN decided to go with the other MSP as well.
I think they lost them - a few days ago on the GAP site they had a message about testing for the next quarter and the information to study to be ready for the test; that information is now gone.

Also typically GAP posts the next month's shops on about the 15th of the month and that has not happened. Every state or area I check shows no shops for next monthup - only ones that have not yet been completed this month. And for the ones left in my area I have not received one phone call this week...now I have done ten shops all ready this month so that might be why but the ones left for this month are not moving at all.

Does anyone know if they have any clients besides them? In my state, all they had was that FF. On their homepage, all I see are notes about that FF.

They have one small location with 2 stores here and 1 in Beverly Hills. Other than that, I am not sure. I miss doing more for them as they bonused me well.

I just checked the site and Indiana (my state) and Michigan aren't even on the job board menu anymore.
They posted a note on their homepage saying they lost the account. But what's weird is they name the other company shopping the client in case their shoppers want to continue. Isn't it odd? First, how do they know where the client went. I thought it was supposed to be confidential. Secondly, it's odd they would tell their shoppers to go to their competitor, isn't it? I mean it's nice of them, but somewhat counterproductive.

I hope they get some new exciting clients soon. As of now, they have no jobs posted. I never shopped for them because they never had anything in my area, but I heard good things. Also, they bonused their shops pretty good.
I actually see it as an act of goodwill and would appreciate the gesture. We all go through the wringer a little in January awaiting to see if our favorite clients are still with our favorite companies or whether they have been whisked away to some company that pays half as much and decides to add on their own 'touch' of twenty more questions. I would sort of feel that posting where the shops went was probably done with mutual consent and so the departure is less likely to be acrimonious. It is one thing for us, as shoppers, to decide a client is no longer worth the trouble because the pay went down and the work or other nonsense became worse. It is a whole other thing where shoppers are encouraged not to shop the client now that they have been jerked away to another company. I have seen that poor sportsmanship happen as well.
There is a tenuous connection between Market Force, formerly known as Shop 'N Chek, and GAPbuster. When GAPbuster began in New Zealand in the mid 90's, it was under a licensing agreement with Shop 'N Chek. They relocated to Australia a few years later. As far as I know, they still work with the FF client in many of the 74 countries in which they operate.
