Lots. There is a list of MSCs and their payment terms somewhere around here. Oh yeah, it is the first thread on this section of the forum.

I was a newbie in November. Out of 17 different MSCs I did jobs for, by far the fastest was Trendsource. Of course I didn't do jobs for all the MSCs out there so YMMV.

Maritz CX is the fastest paying MSC I work for, followed by Marketforce. The slowest paying MSC I shop for is Hilli-Dunlap Enterprises.

There is a thread here somewhere as someone mentioned. I especially like the ones that pay in a couple weeks. Trendsource, Best Mark, Technology Store Shopper. GFK does but some of their reports are crazy excessive with the questions. I only work for one company that takes longer than 30 days because the shops are easy, Ath. I prefer companies that pay by the next month or sooner.

No arguments with any of the above, but add Stericycle to the list of fast payers.

Another thing to keep in mind is payment method. It seems obvious, but all things being equal, a company that pays by direct deposit is going to be quicker than a company that pays by check. I consider A Closer Look to be a pretty average-speed payer: Their policy is to pay on about the 25th of the month following the shop. But, they pay by check so I always have to factor 3-5 additional days in to allow for mailing to my house (more if there's a holiday). Then, I have to deposit the check into my account. I haven't ever had a hold on the funds, but depending on your bank policy you might run into that.
PayPal is quicker than a check and almost as good as DD, but still: if I get a PayPal payment today, I can zap it over to my account and it will probably be there tomorrow. But technically they had 3-5 days to get it over, so I can't completely count on it being there tomorrow, although I could leave it in the PayPal account and just spend it there using my debit card.

I'm old school and like the checks. ACL, Travessa, and 5 Diamond all pay pretty quickly by check. Never a screw up, never a hold, never a fee. PayPal is a necessary evil, but I prefer the checks.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.

Intouch Insight pay up to 4 Fridays after, though usually I get my payment on the following Friday. On the other hand I do like to vary it up with long payers so I know I have money coming in all throughout the month.

To add to the list, The Consumer Insight pays very fast - twice a month.

I tried looking up Travessa and I don't see them listed on this site. Do they go by another name? Thank you

GfK pays in 2 to 3 weeks.
