Monterey Mystery Shopping

Hello all. I've noticed lately that the Monterey Mystery Shopping job board has been bone dry...and it's a shame, because I really liked working with these guys. They're one of the only MSPs I've found that always answer the phone, offer to extend due dates for you, etc.

Does anyone know what's happened to these guys?

I'm wondering, too, if anyone has seen whether or not their main client that they used to shop seemingly everywhere, has migrated elsewhere.

Always thought Monterey shops were well designed and fairly paid. It's been a long time, though, that they've had more than occasional job in my area.

No fee, no shop.

They have a number of jobs here, but I've noticed over the last few years that they are more heavily involved with motorcycles and less with cars.

They are doing a lot of motorcycle shops but still have their high end car shops. They just may have gotten more shoppers due to their good reputation getting around and since the shops are self assign may be getting grabbed before you can see them.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

I was called last night to do a shop today for Monterey. I was told there was a bonus, which is why I agreed to give up other work and do it. Today they say there is no bonus. They never sent an email, just assigned it through the portal last night.

Shopwork
Check in the shop when you open it as it may have notes and bonus would be listed there. If you had it assigned last night with a bonus promised you should get the bonus. If you didn't assign till today then there may not have been a bonus anymore. Also they rarely have self assign with bonus so if you self assigned you won't get the bonus have to have it assigned on the phone. Always check right away to make sure the bonus is attached.

They have many shops now

I grabbed the shops as soon as I see them and most of them are very easy to get to by public transport then again I live in the New York area even if I'm going outside of New York it's no problem getting to them.

I did a job for them last week, (Dealership),and applied for another. I live in CA..
they do have many Motorcycle shops, but a few upscale auto as well.
