Clarification re: payments

Another question i had... For companies who say 30 days or 45 days, if i do an assignment today and one tomorrow, will they not group the payment or will i get seperate payments?

It depends on the company. Most group them a pay one specific day per month, others pay each shop individually after a set number of days.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

They will group payments. They will have a 'cut off' date and all shops approved by that date will be paid one payment. Depending on when the cut off date is, you might have the shops appear in different payments. It is also possible to do a shop today and a shop tomorrow, have tomorrow's shop approved first and make it into one payment while the shop done today when it is approved later landing in the following payment. But in general today's shop and tomorrow's shop will be in the same payment.
Thank you. Also, I noticed that most Sassie MSCs don't have somewhere to check payment status. Would i just estimate when payment is due?
On SASSIE you can watch the changes to your job as it moves through. Once it has been approved it is marked as "Received". With most companies that state 30 or 45 days, your 'count' starts once the 'Received' appears. Your payment should appear within that window. A few days or more before payment is made a "Paid On" date should appear. This is the pay batch with which they anticipate paying for the shop. So you might see "03/10/15" show up as a "Paid On" date even though it is still well before that date. If they pay by PayPal you are likely to see payment a day or two after that date (final approval of the payment batch and submission of funding to PayPal). If paid by direct deposit it likely will be a day or two after that date as well for the same reasons. If paid by check the postmark on the check is likely to be a day or two after that date and then a few days for the mail to be delivered.
