Sinclair Scheduler

What a [...] this one is! Received an email from her demanding a business card for a job I did Feb 22nd. I responded questioning what happened and asked for access to my report. Received a response demanding the business card and a threat that I would not be paid for it. I told her not to bother threatening me as that job had passed editing and I had been paid for it weeks ago. No response. She merely blocked my access to their site.

Just another case of shifting the blame to a Shopper. I plan to carry this further to get it resolved. [...]

You have me puzzled. I have never seen a job from them that required a business card--only receipts. I have not mailed in a receipt to them in years but emailed scans. Did this person communicate with you by phone if there was a problem that raised this unusually late request, or just email demands?
I like her a lot. I don't really understand this situation being discussed, but I have done shops for them that do require BC's. A store with marine goods comes to mind off the the top of my head. I

It was a bank shop in Georgia. I am sure she was having a bad day to begin with and I commented that she did not need to take it out on me. She could have done the right thing and given me access to my report. The report would have shown if there were circumstances that prevented getting a business card. Thats about a hundred shops ago. I am reasonably sure I got and uploaded a card...

query your outgoing email for receipts@ssanet.com . I have never seen an upload on their forms and have always had to email them along to that address.
You are correct. And it is there. Plus sent ontime...:p

I dunno Flash. Its the principal of the thing. I can easyily do without this company. They have too many shoppers in my area and gravitate to their favorites.

I will probably give Matt Sinclair a call monday and email him our conversation.

My reaction is that overall they are decent to work with. They had only client that was really useful to me and recently they got a second. Most of their shops are cheap shops but they are on my list of favorites because so many other companies are just junk cheaper shops. They have had flashes of brilliance ($60 shops that were more than worthwhile) and although I have had website issues with them, I've never been beaten up by them mentally or physically. In fact I have seen and heard nothing but cordiality. Thus your issue sounds like someone was having a really bad day and it was contagious.
I as well have never needed a business card for a Sinclair job. Just did their steak house last night, and do retail..will have to check if they changed the instructions. I never had a problem with Sinclair, they are very upfront and their site is easy to read. I'm curious to what job calls for a business card.

Live consciously....
Irene, As posted above, it was a bank shop.

Irene, the marine stores need a business card, too.

Not the one I did March 20. No POV required.
Really? The browse ones? Mine always wanted a card or a catalog.

Yeah I know. No card required, and only a Y/N answer as to the availability of a catalog.
Cool. Finally a shop going the right direction-getting easier! :-)

They recently changed it. In the briefing update from like a month ago, it said to no longer get a business card. Maybe some of the stores were catching on to the shoppers.
Yay!

It's good that the business card requirement for the marine shop went away..... the shop here apparently does not usually pass out cards, I think only the store manager may have cards, because anytime I asked a guy for his card, he would say "Let me give you XXX's card, he's our manager." I always felt it was an unexpected customer question and a possible shopper identifier.
As a backup for me, whenever I have to email a BC, or receipt, I always CC: my Gmail account. It's free and tons of storage. Also, I print a PDF of the shop report and email it as well to Gmail.

Although they are not one of my main shopping companies, I have never had a problem with Sinclair. I have never been asked for anything extra and the scheduler I am working with now is great.
