Weird situation & how do I cancel a job with IPSOS, in addition to e-mailing scheduler?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a way to cancel an IPSOS shop other than e-mailing the scheduler. Unfortunately, this scheduler is apparently known for not responding to e-mails. Is there a way to do it through the portal?

Also, this is odd. I definitely may have messed up, but I can't figure out how. I'm wondering if this has happened to any of you?

I think this is one of those shops where they post a bunch of them at the beginning of the month, but stop filling them when they get their quota. There were several posted for my area, but not so many that I could have gotten them confused; at least I don't think so. I could swear I applied for one in a certain location, because I needed to be near there anyway. I posted the "desired" location to my spreadsheet, and received a confirmation e-mail a few days later. I made a mistake when I didn't read the details in the e-mail. So, that's my fault. This morning when I was reviewing my upcoming shops, I see the location I was assigned, and it's not the one I (thought I) applied for! On top of that, I just shopped the location for the same type of product last month. So, I need to cancel it. I think there's a three-month rotation, but even if not, I'd be shopping it the same time of day as last time, and I'm sure the salesperson would recognize me--even if he doesn't wait on me this time. I'm sure he was suspicious of me last time!

Anyway, to boil it down:
1. How do I cancel this shop? (I'm scheduled to do it on Monday, but am concerned about the scheduler not getting my e-mail in time.)

2. Have any of you ever been scheduled for a location that you didn't apply for? (I probably made the mistake, but scratching my head over how. I definitely wouldn't have applied to shop that location.)

Thanks!

Hmm...that's really odd. Maybe the scheduler was overwhelmed and accidentally scheduled you the wrong location. I am guessing you could try to contact judith@summitscheduling.com, but other than that, no idea on what to tell you.
Hi Birday, Yes, I've had something similar happen to me. There were tons of shops listed, both in person and phone shops. I requested phone shops, but was assigned to the in-person shops. There is no way I would have signed up for the in-person shop because they needed to be done during working hours and I work FT. The scheduler said I had to do the shops or she would issue a flake citation, which she did for 2 shops. It was my first (and last) experience with that MSC. Glad I found out early to avoid them.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Emma. Maybe I'm not losing my mind after all. I just know I wouldn't have scheduled to do the same kind of shop at a location I just shopped a month ago!

Apparently the scheduler got my e-mail, as the shop is no longer showing in my assignments.

A response from the scheduler would have been nice, right?

It sure would have been! I've had to write to this scheduler before, and he never responded. At least he cancelled the shop out, and it doesn't look like I've been given a flake citation, although I'm not quite sure where it would show up.
