IPSOS

it's my understanding that their client suddenly changed the program in midstream and tacked on scheduling requirements that has thrown everything in disarray and Ipsos' scheduling company (summit) is struggling to comply. to say the least i'm sure that this has caused a lot of difficulty for everyone, including us, the boots on the ground. all i can do is to be patient as this too will pass. one of the benefits in being an independent contractor is that we have the privilege to pick and choose what assignments we undertake and if this bump in the road is too difficult to navigate...just pass.

Looks like they finally got it right. On Sunday I scheduled 4 shops. The next day I was assigned them. On Tuesday, I scheduled 4 more shops, the next day I was assigned them. This week, I completed 4 DIM, 2 Regular and 2 Hazmat's. I have 3 more scheduled for next week. No narratives. Very easy to complete.
I had figured that the scheduling issues had passed with Ipsos and their large client. Last week I received emails with massive amounts of job postings and tested the waters by applying for two of them last Wednesday. So far they are still sitting in "My Applications." I was hoping to do them at the end of last week... Is anyone else still having scheduling hiccups with Ipsos?

i, for one, have not had any issues with having the assignments scheduled. i suggest that you email the scheduler (located in the job description) and if all fails then contact the owner of the scheduling company. she is, by far, the most proactive individual that i have come across in this industry.
They have a new job you can do anytime of the day or night. You have to use a credit or debit card to make a purchase of up to 5 dollars. Have anyone one completed one of these I thought about doing it on Sunday.

I did one last week - it was easy. Then I came home and assigned myself two more. I can always use more of that product. I inputted the whole thing on the MobiAudit app while I was right there.

I've done a handful of the shops and they were really painless. I wish I could figure out if the 30 min rule between shops applied to these but have been keeping them spread out just in case. Also would be good to know if these counted towards the 20 shops per week max for this company but again am assuming so just to be safe.
The five dollar jobbies:
1. Does the 30 minutes between shops apply? I've been leaving time in between just in case.
2. Are these counted in the 4 per day/20 per week maximum? I went ahead and assumed "yes" just in case.
3. I'm not really exactly sure what photo I'm supposed to include in the "photo of your number selection on the keypad" I've been including the photo I think it is, but all my shops are not "ok to pay" yet.

I just checked and mine from last Sunday night (a week ago) is ok to pay. I took a picture of the screen where I chose how many of the item I wanted. I do believe however that is an optional photo. Wouldn't be easy to take with a line of people behind you.

4. If I do a shop during hours the retail area is closed, but the kiosk is 24/7, I won't be able to answer the clerk assist questions. I guess that info isn't super important to them?

It's the screen where you select the number of stamps you want. On the right of the screen, it shows what the image on the stamp will be. A few of my purchases have had out of season stamps (winter stamps in May) and I assume that is what they are looking for. I find it an easier photo to take without notice than the one of the machine and its surroundings.
Just curious here, has anyone selected 9 stamps and received 10? I did. I was charged for 9, but 10 came out on a sheet. Thought they might be checking that as well.

If the question is answered by a "clerk" while the office is closed, the store may no longer be a 24-7 retail.grinning smiley

I check mine. I got nine. Check the one stamp that says,---->This Block is not valid postage". I think the set up is too include the space on the sheet. The paper in the printer is set up to conform to the number of stamps under 10.

Oh, my bad. You are so correct. Ha ha, I stuck that sucker on an envelope to mail an eBay purchase. Hope it got there without charging the recipient for postage. I guess I was not too observant on that one. I never even noticed the print..just the lovely picture of the stamp. Thanks for pointing that out.

I only know that the 'non stamp' was there because I took a photo of the sheet to send to the MSC to show that "I received 10 stamps instead of 9." They're probably laughing at me now. The shop has been approved so hopefully my error was corrected.

Last week, I did a HazMat shop and on my way out did a SSK shop. I didn't see anything in the guidelines to indicate that that was not allowed. The SSK shops do not state any timing requirements other than being able to access the SSK. Both shops were accepted, so I think that there are indeed not any timing / waiting requirements. I did an SSK today (Sunday) and apparently the machine was out of the "large" piece of paper. It would only allow me to buy up to 5 stamps, and each printed on a small piece of paper without any pretty pictures.
Edited to add: I think that they pretty pictures are per-printed on the sheet of paper and only the validation is added at the time of printing. Has anyone purchased 8 or fewer stamps and gotten two or more "not valid for postage" "stamp"?

I love the $5 stamp shop as it was self-assigned and easy. I'm having fit with the highly bonused bank shop. I applied, it got wiped out as they extended the due date by a week. I applied the second time with a new due date, and just found out it was wiped out again and due date extended. Why are they doing that? If they assign the shop to me, then it would not need to be extended. I'm confused with their scheduling method for the bank shops.
