Does anyone do SQM assignements?

I've been with SQM for years, and it feels like all they offer is "we'll pay you back X amount" of in store purchases. Yes I know they offer some merchandising assignements, but those are few and far between.

I am wondering does anyone do those assignments where they offer to pay you back part of your instore purchase if you do the assignment.

I used to do sub shops that completely reimbursed and I thought they paid a fee too. I recently did a discounted airline flight shop that was reimbursed half. I liked it.
I used to do the sub shop also. I think I did one shop where I had to call customer service of some company. That's about it.

Edited to add: Oops. Re-read your post and realized I didn't answer the question, for which I have no answer because I have not done that assignment. Sorry.

More like I am curious if anyone bothers to do the payback assignment from SQM.
SQM is not a good fit for the average shopper because the average shopper is looking to make money, not spend it. I never thought their flight deals were something you can't beat by using a Red Eye or if you have the luxury of waiting last minute. As for their Retail, those are very rare like you said!
I love the airline program I used because I was able to choose my flight well in advance and got an awesome deal because the airline was having a sale, and that airline has other perks that work well for me...I was going to fly with them and to my destination anyway so I saved myself $170 by using SQM. I have never seen any merchandising jobs with SQM in my area.
I haven''t done work for them for a long time. I would have to know that I already wanted a product at one of those clothing shops then it would be worth getting back 50%. But, I am not going to go to the store to scout that out.

I used to shop SQM a lot, and they had good retail shops that included reimbursement plus a shop fee. Even their restaurant shops used to have a shopper fee. In recent years however they have gone almost completely to a 'partial reimbursement for purchase' model and I have essentially stopped shopping for them as a result.
The only shop that I have done is a pretzel shop that paid very little and they wanted a 4 hour turnaround for the report.
I started mystery shopping with SQM and it was a good introduction to it. But once I realized I could eat for free and make some as opposed to just 50% reimbursement, I haven't done much for them.
The problem is that most of the dinners you have to spend $90 and get 50% back. So we end up spending more than we would normally spend and need to be rolled out of the restaurant just to meet the threshold.

Having said that, the flights are good deals in my opinion. If I'm going on a trip anyway, it's a good way to save 50% of my flight.

They are good to work with. I just wish they'd have more shops and more lucrative shops.
I have done one hotel and a few retail shops in the past. Last year and this year, I have done their airline shops.

I just did my first airline shop with them. I was reimbursed a week later. Very impressed with SQM!
