There are a more shopping opportunities in other parts of Asia, but I've never seen anything else listed for China specifically. I'm my limited experience (I've visited the Coyle client throughout China), it doesn't seem like retail functions the same in China as other places, so shopping programs would have to function differently and be geared toward locals. The Coyle client is based in North America and appeals specifically to westernized tourists, so that's a good fit for gearing their appeal to western tastes. Hard Rock Cafe is another establishment that works that way and often has shops in out of the way places, but I think the one in Beijing closed...specifically due to it's western appeal.

Hong Kong has tons of MS opportunities of you can get away there once in a while.
Albatross has several shops in China currently posted, and even more in Taiwan should you be able to get away for a weekend. BARE has an office in Shanghai but I am not sure if they do mystery shopping out of it. You might also check with International Service Check and also MSPA-AP. There are many hits when one googles mystery shopping+China.
If you can contact anyone at International Service Check they might. Also GapBusters is international.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Mystery shopping in China! I almost fell over laughing thinking back to my days living in HK and China. I'm sure things have changed, especially at the high-end stores, but my memory of customer service and imagining trying to write a report on the experiences...

This is a duplicate post. Sorry.

I would have to exclude virtually every store in China, because in each one they told me that I was their friend and that I was getting their "friend's price". Actually, that never happened in the state-owned department stores, but I think they have all finally closed (decades too late IMHO). The high end stores which sell European brands would be interesting to shop. Of course, you have to pay list price in those. In most of the other stores, my goal was to pay 5% of the ridiculous first offer.

Edited to add: The high end shops actually give you a Fapiao. which means that they and are you are actually paying sales tax to the government although there are also fake Fapiaos as well, which allow them to really make money on you. What I thought was really clever was that each Fapiao was also an entry into a state-run lottery, so every consumer had a small vested interest in combating corruption. And if you think that works, I can get you a great deal on the Nanpu Bridge in Shanghai. It is truly spectacular: [www.paulreiffer.com] XieXie.
