BestMark changing scheduling policies...not even waiting for me to finish the question before telling me no.

So frustrated right now. I used to do a lot of the vehicle service shops for Bestmark. Two years ago they would schedule 3-4 of these shops a day for me. A couple weeks ago I called in and talked to one of their schedulers, and they told me that while I probably couldn't do that many in a day, they didn't have a problem with me scheduling a couple of these at one time on the same day as long as I could keep them separate. I call back today to schedule a couple of them, which are both pretty highly bonused because they are in remote areas, and am immediately told that they don't do that any more. The girl was pretty mean about it too. If this had been a shops, I wouldn't have been marking the box for "answered your question in a friendly manner". She just wanted to get me off the phone. So frustrated when they tell you one thing, then change their minds a week later.

Do you have a lot of friends and family that allow you to borrow their cars for these shops? Also several companies are trying to get more variety so your dealer does not figure out who the shopper is. I also was told companies are asking for different reports from different people from various demographics because they want fresh material. One company that will not break rotation said "The stores are using footage to take pictures of shoppers and get their employees to learn when a shopper is coming and have the employees look at their Shopper Family Album" trying stay ahead". Why not just offer great service all the time and not worry about shoppers? The remote areas take two hours to travel each direction, that's why their have problems filling those shops at regular rates. Would you drive three hours for $65 if so there are plenty of shops for this quarter for you.

AGIIW...Always Get It In Writing!
I actually have 5 qualifying vehicles in my family. Never have a problem finding an oil change/tire rotations. As much driving as we do, at least 2-3 a month get done. And they've never had a problem assigning me the same locations over and over. I'm pretty sure there's one location that I'm the only one that has shopped it (for service) in the last two years.
I would call back and attempt to talk to a different scheduler who will hear you out more fully. It's possible the last scheduler was new or misinformed. Or it's possible the first scheduler was new or misinformed. Either way, you at least deserve to have this resolved in a professional manner.
