Company went under and was bought out by another company, Market Stat. See [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
They have no jobs in L.A....very dissapointed.

If JC & Associates failed to pay you for a shop, I would encourage you to contact the new company. For a while they were making shoppers whole as an act of good will. They may have had a belly full of that by now, but if you are owed money it is worth a shot. As far as current fees/reimbursements for shops, that I really don't know. I have not rushed right out to get signed up with Market Stat because my impression was they had only the clients they took over from JC & Associates.

They also bought out Consumer Critique - which was a company out of Portland, OR that had some decent jobs in the Pacific Northwest. I always liked Consumer Critique (never a payment issue with them) and one of their schedulers, Chenoa, I think now works for Market Stat (Chenoa is GREAT!)
I miss JC&Assoc...I loved there lunch restaurant, and really enjoyed that Co. in the beginning. Market Stat just doesn't have the jobs out here, and lost that one.
