Gospotcheck Poster Project

Has anyone performed a Gospotcheck assignment for customer impact? How did it go for you? Am I supposed to walk up to the doctor's employees and ask them to fill out an audit/questionnaire? i just want to understand the nature and success of these sort of assignments. Thanks.

I was tempted by these but decided to pass. You are assigned 10 but that does not mean you will get all the shops to accept the poster. Just a little too iffy for me but it did sound interesting and pretty easy. The other problem for me was there seemed to be a lot of driving involved as the offices are in different cities.
I signed up for 7 of them in my zip code.

From what I briefly read, you go into a doctor's office, place a USB in a TV port, and place some marketing materials around.

It looked pretty straightforward. I should receive the packages next week.

Honny, there were actually two projects. I grabbed four of the ones you are doing because they are clustered together nicely. The other is taking posters to offices. In my area there was no overlap in locations and those offered were too spread out.

I'm doing a route of the USB Bluetooth dongle ones. It sounds like a nice break from involved video shops with all the preparation necessary.

How did they go? I was wary because of remembering another shop that was made to sound easy, but was really cold-calling.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
I was 0 for 3 yesterday. I picked the three locations closest to me to try first. The first location had the wall board but no TV display and said they were about ready to take down the board. The next location had no wall boards or TV displays and had no idea what I was talking about. The third location had a wall board back in a hallway instead of the waiting room and no TV display to go with it. This location was a branch of the second location. They said they were moving in two weeks over to the larger facility (my second location). They did put me in touch with the office manager who had their IT Director call me. He was an old colleague of mine so we had a nice chat. He said they get two or three offers a month from companies wanting to put their display in their offices.

I am only ten percent of the way through my list but so far it appears that the front work has not been done in my area to properly prepare the offices for my coming. This has greatly increased the time spent at each location try to sort it all out and wait for phone calls back only to end in an unsuccessful but complete audit.

That's my belief. It is just one of the outcomes of a completed audit.

Have you completed any yet, just wondering if there's any suprises.

There are surprises.... when you cannot upload the report.... and you receive an error that says, "unable to upload" in red letters and "Please try again with a stronger connection"

It is not you, it is the programming.

Go to the report in "My Recent Activity." Click on the report. In the upper right corner are three dots. Click on that. A popup will say, "Submit by email." Click that, and when the screen pops up, select whatever form of email you have (gmail, etc) from the possible selection. When you click on that, an email will be generated that will transmit your information to support@gospotcheck.com, and they will put it in the data base.

It will take 12 or so hours for the information to reach CI. I assume they are entering the information manually into the database, but you will get an email saying the data has been received by gospotcheck.
I have 12 assignments. Five are done. Kits with televisions take a bit of time, but the people are happy to see you. Just pop the storage piece into the port and look at the tv screen. It will restart, and you know it is installed. Kits for bulletin boards contain beacons, and no one has allowed me to install one yet. They got an email at the offices, but are not agreeable to allow a random beacon signal to be used. One called the company telephone number on the letter (not the MSC) before they rejected, another rejected having a beacon put in, and they said they would contact the company and talk to them directly. They said I might be coming back to install it if they see a need (I'm not being paid for a second trip <smiles>winking smiley

Yes... expect anything.... calling ahead is better... most offices are closed on Fridays.

Can you define "a bit of time?" Are you averaging 15 minutes, 30 minutes, more?

If it is your first, it will be a bit of time as you read through the steps and take pictures... still about 15 minutes unless you have to wait for clients while speaking with the office personnel. After the first.... maybe 10 minutes. It takes time because you have to take pictures of each step and input information on most steps. Type of tv, type of wire, type of box, verification codes, signature
Thanks for the info Ms.B. I had mine scheduled for Friday.

Double what she said. I'm probably going on Thursday. My one disappointment with the app is not being able to see anything before hand. Sounds like it is no more or less than I anticipated.

My shops went okay.

One of the six shops was closed on Thursday.

The remaining shops, I wasn't able to install the beacon. Either the TVs were flush to the wall and immovable, or the TVs were not the correct brand.

As for the app, it worked flawlessly. I started the mission, and it walked me through the steps. At the end, I signed off.

The worst part was the fact that the suite numbers were not included with the addresses. The fact that most of my locations were in office parks made it that much more difficult. The full addresses are on the Comments page, but not the app.

I am now at the point that I would say to avoid these assignment with a 10-ft pole. I have sent emails, talked on the phone, or both to CI every day this week. I have received ... probably 20+ emails from gospotcheck that they are inputting the data.... If the program worked for you... I'm happy for you.... I hope no one has to go through what I am going through in the attempt to get reports in . One report.... I have tried 15+ times...

So today... I'm seeing "submitted" on everything but what I did today.

And today... I get an email from a fourth person at CI.... not the first person (Daniel), not the second person (Heather cool smiley, not the third person (another Heather)... but a fourth person... who is Margie. Margie tells me that there are no pictures with my reports. Can she help me with the app?

I sent an email with 34 pictures attached to CI.... They aren't marked by office... date... or anything... just 34 pictures...

I am done with this program... I have three more shops... which I intend to tell CI that I refuse to do them because, apparently, no one can help.

remember .... 10-foot pole.
wow Ms.B! When you were at the sites, did you get any errors when you used the app? How long after you signed off did you see "submitted?"

I signed up for two and did my first one yesterday. Easy-peasy! The doctor's office only had one television, no posters and no brochures. The only negative was that the television was mounted near the ceiling and I had to use a waiting room chair to access the television. The assignment took maybe 15 minutes, max.
If a TV is too high on the wall we are supposed to leave the device. I was told under no circumstances are we to be taking ladders or climbing on furniture. I verified this prior to materials being shipped because it was going to be a deal breaker for me.

Hello to all on this thread.

My name is Daniel Price and I'm the Project Manager overseeing the various different projects that involve the doctors office visits.

First of all, Ms.Baker, I'm incredibly sorry you've had that frustration. We have over 900 locations visited so far and yours are the first we've seen having this issue. I apologize that you feel like multiple folks have been reaching out to you all over the place. I've made sure that you're only going to hear from one person going forward should any follow up be needed. We're going to be able to get your locations submitted, and I hate that you had to deal with that frustration. Unfortunately when dealing with technology and a project of this scale, there will inevitably be some hiccups, but CI and our tech partner are trying to diagnose any issues as they happen so we can continue to improve the experience for reps on future projects.

HonnyBrown, good suggestion about the suite numbers. Before we begin our second visits I will definitely try to make sure that information is available on the App addresses.

LisaSTL is right about not taking ladders or climbing on furniture. If you can't reach it, then that's that. However, I do want to clarify one thing. Originally the guidelines did say to leave the device with the office. After the client approved that, they came back and said actually to take it with you and NOT leave it at the office. Hopefully if you click on the guidelines on your shop log, that change has been reflected in the new guidelines.

So if you complete any more going forward, just take the device with you as you leave and we will provide return shipping information once the project completes.

If anyone has any questions pertaining to this, or the other 2 projects that are similar we are running, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at dprice@customerimpactinfo.com

As I usually do, I just took one of these to get a feel for the shop before I would take more. First time working for this MSC as well. Went to perform the shop today (I did call ahead to verify the Friday hours). Glad to see that I'm not the only one who's been refused to install the beacon. Seemed very easy to do if I would have been allowed. The app is easy.
hey tcurione. Yes that's going to happen a lot. A lot of these locations might have changed, moved, no longer be there, went with different providers, etc. So a major element of this audit is to verify and clean up and sort of get baseline data for the client to move forward in the future. There will be locations where you are'n able to install it, and that's perfectly fine. Hopefully we've provided the scenario available to explain anything that happens on the app mission.
Daniel, thank you for coming here and letting us know we are on the right track. Also, thank your team for being responsive. That is a huge help!

Another useful item in the app would be the location phone number. Although, I am learning lots about these offices by doing a google search to get their suites and telephone numbers. You get the good, the bad and the ugly with the yelp reviews that automatically pop up...
I did my other shop today. I introduced myself and handed the office employee the authorization letter. She said, "We have a television, but the doctor doesn't want the HMN program. He'd rather watch baseball." The television still had the HMN sticker in the lower left corner. I glanced at the television and they were watching House Hunters on HGTV.
Dare, that is too funny!

I gotta admit, it is much more enjoyable to sit in a waiting room watching HGTV or the baseball game.
