We're off track here. I agree with telling a new shopper to read the forum before asking questions.
Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.
Many new (and some long-time) forum members ask questions that have been asked and answered. Nicely explaining the search function is best for everyone. When a new member ignores advice about reading first and repeatedly starts threads to ask, I think telling the new member he is wasting time is not counter-productive. I don't advocate telling ALL new members that ALL questions are a waste of time, but in this case, yes, the repetitive questions being posted are a waste of time and warrant a stronger message.
I also think this situation differs from responding to trolls. IMHO, the OP is not a troll. The OP is a new shopper who wants to save time for herself. She is not yet in the mode of looking at this like a business and did not realize that her time is not worth more (except to her) than our time.
