Avoid Intouch Insight - 10' pole!

Have done many shops for Intouch Insight in Canada and never got paid. Totally dishonest company, avoid working for them!

How many shops have you done for them? Over what time period? Have you ever been paid for any of your shops or were all shops unpaid? What reason were you given for nonpayment? Can you provide details to explain?
The OP posted on this forum on a different thread about another company and shared how she felt about Intouch / Insight...but it sounds like she was paid for 8 of the 10 shops, and not paid for 2....here is her quote and the link to it follows the quote..............So if she is saying she was never paid for any shops in THIS post, then the two posts seem contradictory to each other. We can't offer advice or help if the stories don't add up.

Hi all, sorry if I did not make myself clear, but I did not mean to say that I had never ever received any payments from Intouch Insight. To clarify, I have done many shops for them in the past few months, and many of those were never paid (more than the 2 in my previous posts, it is exactly 7 reports in total - which were accepted, but the payment always said "pending" until one day they simply disappeared from my account and are no longer in my history - and again, never paid). I have also done other shops for them for which I was paid, but overall, I did not have a good experience with them, and I thought I would share this info, in case anyone cares, and this seemed like the perfect forum to mention it in. I have not had any issues with any of the other companies I have worked for (performalogics, wecheckservices, shoppers confidential, mystery shopping Canada, Lanla and premier services), yet I am constantly having to contact Intouch Insight for missing payments, without much success - I have now just given up on them. Granted, I have not been in the world of mystery shopping for very long, but it really is a hassle to have to constantly double check Intouch Insight and to feel that I am getting the run-around. I simply recommend you avoid them, but to each their own. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Summertime, are you and gl8ria the same poster? I think the questions raised in this thread are directed to the poster who started this thread. Your two stories do both sound very similar. Are you the same person posting about the same interactions with Intouch Insight? If so, why do you have two different screen names?

Yes, it has me confused as well!! Your posts make it seem as though you and gl8ria are the same person. Why would you have 2 different IDs???
I am in Canada and have never had a missed payment from Intouch. They pay by direct deposit if reports are completed on their website, and payment is quite quick, usually within two weeks.

They are now using iSecretShop for some of their shops and shops reported on this platform pay by PayPal. Are your payment details up to date everywhere?

i'm calling bs and i have no skin in this game. topics/comments disparaging a msc/scheduling company/schedulers, etc. with no details/particulars, etc. smacks of a disgruntled douche canoe who has probably not followed guidelines resulting in non-payment, etc. or a pearl-clutcher whose tender whittle fee-fees have been bruised. and...especially coming from folks who use multiple screen names. i have one word for these....c o w a r d s.

furthermore...“weasel words” that wouldn’t stand up in a 9th-grade debate class. if you say something, especially if it’s inflammatory, it’s got to be backed up!

It seems like a poster signed up a month ago and most likely forgot her u/p and created new credentials in order to respond to thread. There was no deception intended since the poster clearly identified herself as the poster from the other thread.

Stated in harsher language than I would use, but I do agree.

Chris Cooper may be right that Gl8ria registered and forgot so registered again as Summertime but then remembered and got confused and used both screen names on the same day in the same thread. And then, when asked, did not explain although she was logged in. It could happen, but, coupled with the inflammatory language and nebulous details, it raises questions about credibility.

I just checked Summertime's history and she created a post 3 days ago that is similar to gl8ria's so that is probably why Summertime clarified here. Two different posters similar issue.

Anyhoo....enough angst for one day. Happy Labor Day...time to enjoy a barbecue.

I have worked for intouch insight a few times, I never had any trouble with them. But now they moved all of their scheduling to Isecretshop and I don't go there anymore.
