Auto buying negotiating

I have tried to find out from schedulers what is involved in this kind of shop. They don't even respond which is rather unprofessional. I am not asking for them to disclose all of their secrets and I don't think that it is unreasonable to inquire about what is involved. It makes no sense that they want people to be assigned first and then have it explained. Anyway, can anybody advise me what is involved?

I understand what price negotiating is. I am referring to what the reports entail.

Thanks

indy, the report is mostly putting in the numbers you get from your negotiation scenarios. There is very little narrative. Make sure your numbers add up.

When you go through the one hour training, Rich will explain everything.

I ha a dealership from Intellishop that still has me reeling.....the report was the most detailed (much more than #'s), and for 17.00. Instructions said to call but NOT make an appointment, which I followed. I sent in report,
it was declined as the "editor" said I should have made an appointment, she didn't read the instructions. which I printed out.. I wrote and never got an answer, and got a big fat 1 and no reply. Be careful which company you do these for, $17.00 for all that work, wasn't worth it (even with a fair editor). I do them for Monterey only. I advise you to print out instructions.

Irene, I agree, the editors at IS don't read the guidelines shoppers have to follow. Then they ding you because they have to contact you more than once!

The shop that indy is referring to is through SeeLevel.. You are negotiating a car price, not doing a test drive.
